El Rucon Restaurante Reviews
After seeing this restaurant on Facebook, I wanted to come in and try their Birra Tacos with Consome. We were greated warmly by Mauricio, who when told it was our first time there was very patient and explained a couple of things to us. He was able to do a "special request" bean burrito for a picky eater in the group. The Birra 🌮 🌮 🌮 were so good. Meat was so tender and tasty, and the console topped it off perfectly. El Rucon Restaurante is the perfect place for birria lovers! With flavorful options like Birria Quesadilla, Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, and Esquite, this spot aims to please. The service is decent, though some guests have mentioned feeling like they interrupted staff conversations. The ambiance is cute and great for photos, but some diners feel the food can be lacking in flavor. The restaurant can seat about 20 guests, all indoors. While the desserts and drinks have received praise, some customers have expressed concern over the pricing, noting that a bowl with just rice, guac, beans, pico, and sour cream can cost $12, and adding meat can raise the total to around $30. Despite these issues, many still look forward to returning to try more items from the menu, such as the highly praised birria pizza and other dishes. Just a heads up: it’s wise to pick up orders close to the time and keep an eye out for hair in the fries.
