The food is seasoned well, but would be so much better if they weren't so spicy. The Ground Beef Spaghetti is so spicy that it's inedible... sucks because it would've been good. The Fried Fish Dinner was spicy too but I was able to finish it with 3 bottles of water. The Boulet dinner had a little kick to it where it was tolerable. The Chicken Wings With Fries were okay.“

“I have been going or ordering from Ming Village for almost 20 years. They are a family owned and run restaurant. I Love their food. Their menu is large and offers traditional Chinese cuisine Dim Sum, so there is always something new to try. I have never ever been disappointed with their food or service. Excellent Food! “Wow — what an amazing early dinner experience! I was eating alone and expected the usual slower service you sometimes get when a restaurant isn’t busy, but that was not the case. Joemi, my server, was incredibly attentive and patient, and truly made me feel welcomed.

I later had to call for a copy of my receipt, and Manager Cilan was so kind and helpful over the phone.

“i’ve been coming here with my family/solo since i was 8 years old. i’m 33 now. that alone should say something.

my favorites & my pallet changes over the years but they still fix my cravings when it comes to authentic Chinese food.

from honey chicken, to shrimp paste, to custard tarts, to beef broth soups like their beef stomach stew.

if you come before 3pm they do have their “brunch” dim sum. shrimp paste & other items open up.

it’s a family owned restaurant & i’ve seen the same faces since i was a child.

they are the best in kendall/ west side of south florida, away from the tourist traps of miami beach & etc.

don’t come in here thinking it’s like sexy fish miami/ komodo expecting to take pictures. you’re here for the homemade food!

don’t be the typical american & get 1 thing for yourself, get a few selections, put them in the middle & share with everyone! that’s how we eat!“

It's a bit awkward and rare that's inside a gas station...but I was really impressed on the wait time and quality of food. I ordered the bourbon chicken, special fried rice, and wonton/egg drop soup. Super delicious! Chicken cooked well, rice was not oily, the soup you want to eat it all at once, oh and super generous with the portions. If you live or visiting the area and searching a good Chinese restaurant...don't go to the others...trust me I've tried them and you're going to be disappointed...it's not worth it. Like the one on NE 79th st area...disgusting food. It's worth driving here and getting it.“

“La Estrella feels very familiar, at least the atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff and most of all the food. It’s almost ripped out of el barrio chino in Cuba, truly nostalgic. They prefer cash payments, as tip for anyone who is looking at the reviews. The honey garlic chicken is juicy and fresh. The beef with vegetables, steak is tender and the sauce is amazing. The jumbo fried rice was great, it had alot of chicken, ham and pork. Food was very good, portions were good and price is good to and it came with choice of soda , my bill was 9.58 including taxes and I attached pictures of my meal , menu , and inside of take out place . “While staying at the Fisher House near the VA hospital, I was craving some Chinese food as a change of pace from the delicious local Cuban cuisine. Even though this spot might not look like much from the outside, don't let the age or the location fool you—it is a busy, popular, takeout-only gem.

​I ordered the jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables, the Triple Delight, and some chicken wings. Everything was spot on: the food was fresh, served piping hot, and packaged perfectly.
