La Carreta offers a mix of experiences. While the cafeteria outside serves fresh croquetas and orange juice with great customer service, the atmosphere inside can be lacking. Some find the Cuban dishes like Vaca Frita and Ropa Vieja delicious, with seriously large portions and really good food. The place is comfortable and the service is attentive and efficient. The colada at the end is a must-have, and the dessert bread pudding is very good. Limited parking is available. Enjoy the cafecito and affordable prices for a good meal.
