“We had the most enchanting evening with friends at the Sims House. Starting with Southwestern Eggrolls, Sriracha edamame and prosciutto-wrapped figs, each dish bursting with flavor. The locally caught fish were cooked to perfection as was my steak dish and salad. An impressive wine list and a host of beers... sitting under palm trees with twinkling lights... everything was magical. It's so nice to be able to enjoy our weather dining alfresco. All dishes were done to perfection (wish I had taken photos). We enjoyed desserts of creme brulee and chocolate brownie cheesecake. Should you take the pleasure of the Sims House, you won't be disappointed.“

“I came in for the first time ready to spend money and the bartender got our order, then came back and started mumbling (sounded plastered) kept saying a different price 6 then 4 than 9 than 11 then he said 10 so i asked what it was to clarify and he sighed, took my drink and asked the next person their order completely ignoring me holding cash in my hand ready to pay (and tip) never will come back rudest service I've experienced in my life. white guy with. beard was my bartender. he also skipped the person in front of us because they weren't saying their order fast enough while he was trying to buy like 8 drinks. this business is loosing money from this guy. horrible. so we went down the road to mangos where they were respectful and got all our money.“

“Mostly open air bar with live music. Right on the Intracoastal, you can even walk out onto the dock. 21 and older. Decent bar food and menu. Order at bar and are given a buzzer thing to know when food is ready. Free soda refills. Regular line for woman's room. Some Hightop tables with some stools and some regular height table and chairs. A section is in packed sand. Many just stand and people did dance. In many ways an old style Beach bar like in the jersey shore many years ago...but on the Intracoastal with much better food.“

My Mom and ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer with blue cheese dressing and it was “over the top” . and Just amazing.bursting with flavor and wonderful texture! my Mother got the “ I’m not your mamas BLT. sandwich which was made with dried shiitake mushrooms with plenty of herbs and seasoning, and it tasted very similar to bacon and was delicious. i ordered the falafel salad 🥗 which was bursting with so many beautiful vegetables including spiral, beets, shaved carrots, cucumber, lettuce with a tahini dressing! i also had a ginger beer mock-tail which was so tasty! can’t wait to go back to this gem of a place!“

Waitress was great, not overly attentive (which was great for me because I was alone and didn’t need a ton of attention) but made sure I had everything I needed. The smash burger was pretty good, not as smashed as I would have expected but still tasty. Had a cider, was delish. Would def go back! Bourbon list is insane, they have both 10 and 15 yr pappy which blew my mind and next time I’m gonna try a spiked shake.“

“My wife and I just had the privilege to enjoy dinner at the District Table. She ordered the Summer menu deal where she received a salad , appetizer, main course, and dessert. Her main course was belly steak with chimichurri. The chimichurri could not have been more fresh and bright flavored. The steak was tender and full of remarkable flavor. My main course was the chili rellenos. This dish was not a typical Hispanic type dish, other than the chilis. It was more of an Indian dish flavored with curry, cardamom, tarragon, etc. When I say this was a top 10 meal, I literally mean a top 10 for my entire life. We’ve travelled the country and all over Europe and I will stand by the “top 10” designation. Oh my God, people. I know their menu changes regularly but I wish it could be a staple. I was in heaven. I virtually never talk to the chef but I could not stop myself. I HAD to express my appreciation for the culinary experience he and his staff just provided. Taylor- if you’re reading this…you’re a food wizard. I can’t thank you enough for what we just ate. I’m leaving out many amazing details of our dinner- from the outstanding service, to the remarkable dessert and, surprisingly cheap, happy-hour margaritas. Wow. Just: wow. Triple A plus experience. I couldn’t recommend the District Table any more highly.“

“We’ve been going to Blue Pointe Bar and Grill for the past five years and it remains one of my favorite spots in Palm Beach County. The location is hard to beat, sitting outside looking over the water with a cold drink in hand is pretty close to perfect. Total flip-flops, t-shirts, Kenny Chesney kind of vibe… and the country playlist the last time we were there was fantastic.

I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Yes, it’s not cheap, but it’s also not overpriced considering the quality, portions, atmosphere, and location. The portions are HUGE. The pretzel with beer cheese is a great starter, the spicy buffalo chicken salad is outstanding, and the fish tacos and burgers are consistently excellent too.

What really keeps us coming back though is the service. Friendly, proactive, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming every single time. It’s become my go-to place to bring out of town guests because it captures that laid-back South Florida waterfront energy perfectly. Highly recommend.“

“I dined here last October with a group of people. To be honest I couldn’t recall what I had. I was told I had the duck but, honestly it obviously didn’t leave an impression one way or the other. Why I had duck at an Italian restaurant is beyond me. Clearly it was not the dish to try. However, that was not the experience I had with my most recent visit.

The Ambiance
The ambiance is a cross between your typical Italian restaurant with wallpaper scenes of Italy and a sports bar with photos of baseball players (predominantly my team, the Yankees) and a Tom Brady wall when he was with the Buccaneers. There’s high-top tables and bar seating in the bar area and a large dining area in the dining area.

The Service
Efficiency with a smile would be the best way to describe the service. It seemed like everyone had a job and each person filled that job to perfection. Tables were cleaned as soon as they were messed, dishes were cleared as soon as they were done, drinks were refilled immediately all with a smile and the utmost of courtesy. As a restauranteur, I must say I have never seen such efficiency and professional courtesy all in one package.

The Food
If you like big dishes, one’s that provide enough leftovers for a week, you’ll love this place. If you like fantastic Italian food, this is the place for you, if you enjoy a great dessert, you’ll find one right here.
For our appetizer, we shared the Calamari. It had a crispy crust and a uniquely chewy, yet tender interior. My lovely bride chose the Chicken Piccata over a bed of Angel Hair Spaghetti. The chicken was oh so tender with just the right lemon in the sauce to add a bit of zest. I chose the eggplant parm with rigatoni and sweet Italian sausage. The eggplant, although a bit thicker than I like, was covered in a crispy layer of melted mozzarella cheese. The eggplant was tender and tastefully finished with a nicely seasoned breading. The entire dish was amply topped with a robust marinara sauce. The accompanying rigatoni was a bit too thin for me but was cooked Al Dente to perfection.

For dessert, we chose the tiramisu and peanut butter pie. Both were excellent with the tiramisu featuring just the right blend of coffee and cream. The peanut butter pie was oh so creamy and finished with a sprinkling of chocolate. Both were a fitting way to end a great dining experience.

The bottom line
The bottom line as always with my reviews is my “customer so what” … would I come back? I’m sure you know the answer based on my above review. Although pretty expensive for an Italian restaurant… $150.00 for a party of two, the size of the dishes is big enough to provide leftovers for another two dinners, I definitely would return and if you haven’t been there, it’s definitely worth the trip.“

“I have been going to shrimpers for many years. This was my second bad experience. Tonight we waited for our meal for over 1 hour. We told the waitress that we were going to leave because of this. The manager then came and stated that the meal would be ready in 90 seconds because it still needed to “bake”. We were done and fed up. We told him that we were leaving and to not charge us for the meal. He did not charge us for the meal but did not apologize or show us any quality customer service. I was very disappointed. It was our mother’s birthday and we were trying to celebrate this special day with her.“
