BEKA Georgian restaurant offers a beautiful, stylish, and modern atmosphere with an elegant yet relaxed design. The restaurant features a European-style aesthetic with warmed lighting, wine racks, and thoughtfully arranged tables and chairs. The dining room feels intimate and sophisticated, with unique light fixtures and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing excellent service and walking guests through the menu with great suggestions. The wine selection is outstanding, with an incredible selection of wines from Georgia, and the team’s knowledge and passion are contagious.
The food receives mixed feedback. The traditional Georgian dumplings, khinkali, are handcrafted with delicate dough and a rich, flavorful broth inside. The Lamb Chops are perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor, with the Lamb Chops with Tarragon being outstanding. The Bread Service with adjika, the Pkhali Board with spinach, beets, green beans, and eggplant, the Eggplant Rolls with walnut cream and pomegranate seeds, and the Ajapsandali are all flavorful. However, some note the portions are on the smaller side, and while the presentation is elegant and refined, the flavors can be rather bland rather than the expected explosion of flavor. Overall, BEKA is a real gem in Hollywood, offering delicious Georgian cuisine with a gentle modern touch that comes highly recommended.
