Firehouse Subs on Eau Gallie Blvd near the Walmart is a fantastic place to grab a great sandwich in a clean and friendly environment. The restaurant chain was founded in 1994 by two former firefighter brothers in Jacksonville, Florida, Firehouse Subs is known for great food and for giving back to first responders through its Public Safety Foundation. They have about 1300 locations worldwide. This location lives up to that reputation with friendly service, quality ingredients, and a great sandwich. I ordered a large firehouse hero sandwich. The sandwich was made as I watched. It was delicious, filled with meat, and packed with flavor. They offer a variety of other options, including salads and kid-friendly meals. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was attentive and quick. There's plenty of free, ample parking right in front, which makes it convenient even during busy lunch hours. The firehouse-themed décor, complete with firefighter memorabilia, gives the space a very nice welcoming feel. Now they've even added the french dip

They do make it very hard to choose between the curly fries and the potato cakes and I have to admit that I go back-and-forth every time I visit.

Service, at this location was very good. They handled customers very, very quickly. When I first pulled up I was worried at how long the line was but they soon alleviated my fears.

It is nice to see that Arby's is adding new locations to their chain. Several have popped up around where I live over the past year or two.“

One fast food place that occasionally gets overlooked is Arby's. It was founded back in 1964, but what blows my preconceived notions is how Arby's seems to have suddenly become an alternate fast-food (or as Arby's likes to refer to itself, Fast Crafted ®) reality alt fast. Claiming to be the second-largest sandwich restaurant in the world with over 3,500 locations in nine countries, the menu is no longer just roast beef. In fact, Arby's states that it "celebrates the art of Meatcraft® with a variety of high-quality proteins and innovative crave-able sides." Indeed, the menu has expanded greatly. There is a full menu of what appears to be healthier options as well as a wide range of cheat foods. This is not your grandmothers Arby's. Robin is the counter help. She is a wizened veteran of the restaurant business and has an amazing personality for the level she is working here. This must reflect the Arby's Restaurant Group's stated brand purpose of Inspiring Smiles Through Delightful Experiences ™. I am not making this up. Robin even went out to the dining room to ask customers how their food tasted. WHAT? Imagine them doing THAT at the Golden Arches! I ordered the Classic Roast Beef--the standard Arby's throwback--although I had a choice of twelve different Slow Roasted Beef items. Tasty morsels of processed beef product with the accurate flavoring. Next, I tried the Turkey Ranch and Bacon, which had fresh lettuce and tomato and looked and tasted good. Currently, due to a turkey shortage, you can only get this sandwich in one of their stores, not online. Last, an order of the Crinkle Fries (although the Curly Fries looked good too). These fries were cooked right, not over or under fried. The Big Boy says, "Take a break from Mickey D's and give Arby's a shot."“

“We have been to BUBBAKOO’S many times and tried many different things including taco salads, burritos, quesadillas and their awesome boardwalk cookies…. They have great food and service and you can change the taste by just adding or removing one ingredient…. It’s a different experience every time!“

“Ordered a sub through the Jersey mikes app and it was subcontracted to DoorDash. Unfortunately, my sub never made it to me. The doordasher had an incorrect address on his end, so he delivered the sub to the wrong address. I texted asking if it was delivered (doing no-contact deliveries due to COVID-19) and he said yes. I hadn’t received it and that’s when he realized he had a different address. He drove back to the house he delivered it to, but the homeowner had already eaten it. He let me know what happened and spoke with DoorDash about it but I never heard back from him or from DoorDash about a refund or another sub. Called Jersey Mikes on Palm Bay road and had the pleasure of speaking to Megan, one of the owners. She refunded me my money, and had Douglas, after he got off work, deliver a new sub to my door with 2 cookies! Thank you so much for fixing a mistake that wasn’t made on your end! As someone who works long hours at the hospital during this crazy time, I truly appreciate you guys going above and beyond to make a customer happy!“

“Super friendly team! I received a warm greeting as soon as I entered. The lady at the front register was very welcoming. When I got my sandwich, it had tomatoes on it, which I don't like and hadn't seen in the sandwich description. I went back to the front and let them know that it was wrong. Turns out, it wasn't wrong - lettuce, tomato, and mayo come on every sandwich. I later realized that the lady at the front desk had asked if I was OK with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on my sandwich, and I totally missed what she had said. You know those moments when you go on autopilot when ordering and agree with what is said without actually registering what is said? Yeah, I had one of those moments. Long story short, the sandwich wasn't wrong, I received exactly what I had ordered! Both the lady at the register and the manager who came over were so kind, and offered to remake the sandwich at no charge, despite it being my mistake (I really really really dislike raw tomato). “I went to the McDonald's I go to almost every morning and they told me that they were having Technical difficulties which happens, but they couldn't help me. So I went to the next closest one at 6420 N. Wickham Dr. The Cross street I believe is Jordan Blass Dr. The manager Robert Haddix told me he was having the same issue. Then he told me that if I could wait 3 min he had figured out the problem and fixed it, which he did. This manager needs to be recognized for his work ethic and devotion to his store and making 100% sure his customers are happy. I had to write this because of how impressed I was with his performance and determination to customer satisfaction. McDonald's corporate or the store owner needs to be made aware of how great of a manager they have and I would've tried to steal him for our business but that's not right. Anyhow, Mr Haddix did so amazingly well with his professionalism and willingness to help, it had to be documented for his DM and or higher ups to know just how good of a manager they have. “Went to this Wendy's with three of my other friends on the night before Thanksgiving at about 8:00 p.m., the manager on duty was the most professional, generous, engaging manager I've ever had the chance to be serviced by, the staff was exceptional. When we showed up the system was down but the staff was so amazing that we stuck around and hung out until the system came back up and we were able to order food. Whoever is in charge of paying the staff for this night shift definitely needs to consider raises for everyone who was on staff that night, because service that amazing should never go unrewarded.“

“I wasn't always a fan of Subway. Recently I've been eating them do to being a diet and their bowls are great. Until my recent order tonight. I've spent a lot of money in the last few months. All my orders have been $60 tops. With two kids and spouse. Well the bowl I got had 5 pieces of meat and missing most of the toppings I requested. So I paid $13 for a few pieces of meat and some lettuce. I'm very disappointed 😞 Think I will take my business back to Jersey Mike's.“
