We eat here often and usually have an overall great experience. Today, not so much. We walk in and wait. Then one of the servers curtly says, "just two, you can sit anywhere." Other times the servers say "hello, have a seat anywhere and we'll be right with you." We sit in same servers (Mikayla) area. She apparently knew the table seated after us. We order from here about once a week. The 2 meat combo and the 1949 Burger are our go-to choices. My husband loves their brisket and potato salad and their burgers are huge! The vibe is like going to someone's house, lots of noise and a festive feeling. They have a daily special but pay attention when they ring up your bill-They have forgotten to take it off a few times. (But they always make it right). I definitely recommend it.

When I go to any Bono's anywhere I know it will be fantastic. Today was no exception. I had the brisket, coleslaw and black eyed peas. The sides are as good as the main dish. That's a southern meal. It's not fancy. It's just good food and good people. The only difficulty is getting off the highway on Bowden you have to quickly get to the left lane to make a turn.
