I got there at 1pm on a Tuesday, I was seated within 2 minutes. Hot chips and salsa came out about 2 minutes ago. I ordered the taquitos and Wear Coast burrito, which came maybe 10 minutes later. That's hella fast for me and I appreciate that.
The fries were fresh, crisp and the jalapenos/onions were a nice flavor. Through the first bite to the last bite of the burrito, it brought memories of a younger me in San Diego discovering the secret of adding fries to it.

Many visitors praise the atmosphere and the service, with some mentioning that their servers were attentive and made excellent suggestions, like the pomegranate Paloma. Taco Tuesday is a popular day at Cantina Louie, especially sitting outside with a cool breeze and little noise, where guests enjoy good food and drinks like the watermelon jalapeño margarita.
