They always have fresh raw seafood plus a kitchen for cooked seafood platters!!! Take out only not a sit down and eat business. Seasoning is just right weather you choose mild, medium, or spicy!! The only thing I would suggest when buying their garlic butter in bulk.... ask for light dry seasoning to balance the ratio to the butter !!!! They tend to make it a bit “thick”!!! You end up with wet bowl of spices versus a dipping sauce or garnish!!!
During a recent visit to Jacksonville, we purchased crabs from a couple different places. I must say, this place was the absolute best by far. This is not a restaurant, but a fish market. The crabs were the bigger than any of the others we had previously. I really felt like I got the most for the $ spent there. The shop owner was pleasant and when I mentioned I would be taking some of the crabs home, he was kind enough to give us free ice for our cooler. I will definitely be going...read full review

A & B Crab Shack is the cleanest seafood shack that I have ever encountered in Jacksonville, FL. Crab trays were seasoned quite well and cleaned out. The owners are very nice and the service was super quick. I definitely will return in the future. You will not be disappointed. The prices are very competitive.
