Based on the reviews, Crystal River Seafood is a great restaurant for casual eating and fresh, delicious seafood in Jacksonville. The all-you-can-eat snow crab legs on Monday are a must, with 5-6 clusters on the first plate, served with 2 sides plus fried shrimp and hush puppies. The food is fresh and yummy, with super sweet and juicy crab legs, scallops that melt in your mouth, and conch fritters and gator tail seasoned incredibly well. The hush puppies are the best ever tasted. The grilled shrimp and scallops are good, and the flounder is good. The fried fish is ok, and the green beans are ok. The service is friendly and attentive, with kind waiters. The atmosphere and location are also great. It is a nice, quiet restaurant. They charge an 18% gratuity for parties of 8 and above. It is the best bang for your buck in Jax.
