Kickbacks Gastropub Reviews
From the moment I walk in I feel welcomed. Steve, the owner greets and checks on everyone. The food is fabulous and the service is excellent. From a dinner date to a professional meeting this is The Spot in Riverside. P.S. Stephanie is awesome
Everyone from the greeter to the waitress was friendly and personable. I'm a light weight when it comes to beers but my peach cider was really good. I ordered the Jake N Bake which was also very good and I loved the large portions they provided. Overall I had a very good experience. The only knock would be that my drink initially got forgotten but was easily resolved once the waitress remembered.
What a great, unique restaurant/bar!
This spot is clearly a labor of love. The steampunk inspired interior is fun and cool. The menu is adventurous and fun too. Food was yummy. Our server, Brandon was attentive and gave a fun tour of the beer catacombs and private dining dungeon. We’ll be sure to drop in whenever in town!

Kickbacks Gastropub is a restaurant known for its extensive menu and late-night food options until 3 AM. It is a popular spot to visit after concerts at Daily's Place. The atmosphere is amazing, with some describing it as a "steam punk's fan dream," while others find it a bit too dimly lit. The interior design is blown away, feels like an old Irish pub, beautiful and rustic. The bartenders are friendly and provide good recommendations, although there have been comments about their knowledge of drinks. The service can be slow, and food may take some time to come out. The menu is huge and picking something was a feat in itself, offering American comfort food with some unique twists and healthy options. The Monte Cristo and Chicken Parm are popular items, and the nostalgic childhood menu adds a fun touch. Our fish & chips and roastbeef panini were delicious, also huge serving sizes. They also had some THC drinks on the menu, a good alternative for non-drinkers. There is a wide variety of beers to choose from, including some unique selections. However, there have been concerns about a decrease in food and beer options. Off-street parking is available, although the large space may sometimes appear empty. The owner is the most wonderful person.
