The food was really good and the people there were very nice and the food came out fast
Really good Caribbean and definitely a place to go try! Tried the Large jerk chicken plate with plantains and rice and peas with a side of Mac and cheese (from the extended menu). Also tried one of their beef patties and they are by far one of the best I’ve ever had!! The plantains were sweet, and had crispy edges.

Sunrise Caribbean Gourmet on Commonwealth absolutely delivered! I grabbed a small veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains topped with stew beef gravy—and wow 😋. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, just like a home-cooked Caribbean meal.
