“This was our second time coming down from North Carolina to try this place. I have to say it will not be our last. Mrs Butta really knows what she's doing in the chicken. I tried to get her to come back home with me just so she could cook for me everyday 😂. But really I have to say this place is truly a hidden gem. Everytime we go we're day kids and order a plate of everything on the menu. I haven't had anything bad whatsoever.“

“Third time is a charm. I didn't enjoy my first 2 visits to Sweet Mamas but I wanted soul food and didn't want to cook Sunday, and Soul Food Bistro was too busy. I loved my entire meal this go round. Considering it's cloer to my house, I'll definitely be back.“

“Food was very delicious , didn’t get any pictures of the food , but me and friends enjoyed our first time experience there would go back , everything season and flavorful !! We went for the 40$ seafood buffet on Friday nights when posted ,,, the potatoes and corn we tore up !!“
“If I could they would get 10☆!!!! Purchased the rib and wing combo with the sweet heat sauce.... MAGNIFICENT! I didn't even make it in the door before my wife was eating wings out of my plate. Portion was enough to make me full and have enough for lunch the next day..... only complaint is..... I wanted more mac and cheese!!“

“Really good Caribbean and definitely a place to go try! Tried the Large jerk chicken plate with plantains and rice and peas with a side of Mac and cheese (from the extended menu). Also tried one of their beef patties and they are by far one of the best I’ve ever had!! The plantains were sweet, and had crispy edges.
It is a bit warm inside but definitely worth the food. The jerk chicken was delicious, moist and saucy. Definitely recommend asking for more sauce!! The sauce is so flavorful. The rice and peas were dry without the sauce but with it, they were so good. It’s a very filling plate and generous portions. Tried a mango drink that is best to drink over ice.

“Sandy Hall has done it again. While visiting family this weekend, I decided to stop by the the newly Black Owned spot, I had heard so much about. This lady has golden gloves on when it comes down to make a simple burger that you know as the BuzzBurger, but it was orginaily the Julia B. Burger. This will make you bite you fingers while you're eating and get mad when its all gone. Way to go Ms. Hall, I will most definely be back.“
