“This was our second time coming down from North Carolina to try this place. I have to say it will not be our last. Mrs Butta really knows what she's doing in the chicken. I tried to get her to come back home with me just so she could cook for me everyday 😂. But really I have to say this place is truly a hidden gem. Everytime we go we're day kids and order a plate of everything on the menu. I haven't had anything bad whatsoever.“

“Third time is a charm. I didn't enjoy my first 2 visits to Sweet Mamas but I wanted soul food and didn't want to cook Sunday, and Soul Food Bistro was too busy. I loved my entire meal this go round. Considering it's cloer to my house, I'll definitely be back.“

“If I could they would get 10☆!!!! Purchased the rib and wing combo with the sweet heat sauce.... MAGNIFICENT! I didn't even make it in the door before my wife was eating wings out of my plate. Portion was enough to make me full and have enough for lunch the next day..... only complaint is..... I wanted more mac and cheese!!“

“Me and My Son was here for one day looking for somewhere good to eat this young lady recommended this place. We are new to the area so we kinda brush it off for somewhere closer. So we tried the places closer to us. 👎🏿 So a couple days later out walking the dog a lady live up from us wanted to pet the dog so we started talking about food. She said Annie Ru is the best place for food. Being from SC knowing I'm not going to get that home cook taste I'm looking for. I told my son that she recommend the same place so off we went. Man when I tell you I was more than satisfied. That would be an understatement!!! Can't wait to go back. Everything was great and my son stood up and said this plate has been solidified. 😂 Great Food!!! P.S. to the young lady that told us the first day. I apologize for not gone the day you told me and you was 100% right. Thanks“

“Really good Caribbean and definitely a place to go try! Tried the Large jerk chicken plate with plantains and rice and peas with a side of Mac and cheese (from the extended menu). Also tried one of their beef patties and they are by far one of the best I’ve ever had!! The plantains were sweet, and had crispy edges.
It is a bit warm inside but definitely worth the food. The jerk chicken was delicious, moist and saucy. Definitely recommend asking for more sauce!! The sauce is so flavorful. The rice and peas were dry without the sauce but with it, they were so good. It’s a very filling plate and generous portions. Tried a mango drink that is best to drink over ice.
