El Quetzal is a small romantic restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. The Guatemalan cuisine has many options, and the food is good at reasonable prices with an extensive menu. The fajitas always smell and sound great, and the hilacha stew is amazing. The burrito is so big leftovers last all weekend. The empanadas are always hot with a flakey pastry, and the eloete is savory. The bread is baked daily and delivered to Latin grocery stores. Service is efficient, and everything comes out quickly. The restaurant also provides wonderful catering for events, with staff and students asking for seconds. The entire experience is wonderful.
