“We had an absolutely amazing experience at Tropical Smoothie today, 9/26! RaKahla, Joshua, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our visit with our kids such a great one.

From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, patient, and attentive. It’s always nice when you go somewhere as a family and the staff genuinely makes you and your kids feel welcome. The customer service really stood out, and you could tell the team cared about making sure we had a great experience.

A huge thank you to RaKahla and Joshua in particular for their kindness and outstanding service. You both helped turn a simple family stop into a memorable experience for us.

“The vibe here was so nice. Everyone made me laugh and they were so such great people. I will 100% be a regular and the girl with braids, I think her name was lyric??? She was so sweet and very helpful, she helped me choose my new favorite order. Wonderful young lady! Also Amyah handed me food and she also made me feel so welcome. “I don't tip at places where I have to stand(*if I'm not seated being and served), but I do leave reviews..especially when they deliver above and beyond. The people that work at this location are amazing! Food is great, serving size is proper and smoothies are top notch.

“Staff was so accommodating as I’m in a wheelchair & still getting use to it & a sweet blonde girl checked on me and helped me open everything and I think it was the manager that came out and asked how my meal was as well. Customer service is great here I would recommend anyone go here, the food was phenomenal. Tasted fresh and you can’t ask for a better place to go!! These days you might get 1 of 3 things in an establishment but here u get all 5 stars worthy! Great work guys keep it up!!“

“I used to always get the chicken caprice sandwhich, almost daily for a while. But then they had some worker start cutting my sandwiches verticly, instead of diagonally. Which made them suck, and made me stop eating here

And before you ask, this was like 2-3 years ago that I stopped eating here
But its always bothered me

“Definitely out of 4 times a month, 1 out of the 4 will be a poorly made smoothie, kind of watery or not enough or too much of one of the ingredients. It's a bummer because my Smoothie out the door with tax is around $9 or $10....AND biggest pet peeve of all......Times are tight and to spend $40 a month on 4 smoothies is a splurge; WHY do you make customers AWKWARD.... when checking out, the screen for Tip pops up and the cashier is standing there waiting for you to answer the TIP question 10%, 20% or Custom tip or NO TIP. So they cashier sees us fluster to put NO TIP and we are made to feel embarrassed. WHY do I have to tip on a pricey beverage to go? Why don't you pay your people a fair wage so they don't care if we tip it not.....OR if someone wants to tip, they can ask instead of asking everyone for a tip BEFORE we even get our drink????? Isn't a tip for quality of extra service provided or really good service? You want us to tip for good service before we even get service????? It's RUDE! Businesses used to be happy to have customers come and get a to-go order! Now you want us to help you pay the hourly wage for your employees. It's ridiculous tipping is out of hand! Tipping is when a server is taking your order and bringing your food and you getting you your drinks refilling it bringing you the check....or Cutting your Hair, or a Hotel maid going above and beyond cleaning your room for a multi night stay.....NOT for a take out pizza, a $10 cup of coffee or a $10 smoothie! Sorry, but I'm over it!“

“I always have such a wonderful experience at this location in River City! The drive-thru is super convenient, and the restaurant inside is clean, bright, and very inviting. What really stood out to me was the staff, they were amazing! I’m especially proud to see such a young, friendly, and professional team. Alex was incredibly kind and helpful, and Manager Darius was just as professional, welcoming, and attentive. It’s refreshing to see a team that genuinely cares about providing great customer service. “Tropical Smoothie Cafe has a really nice list of optional food items and smoothies with a nicer healthier ingredients list. The flavors taste good and stand out, I often get a custom smoothie. Always good prompt service, clean and friendly. Breakfsst. lunch, dinner, splurge or even force snack. They offer fruit as well as a variety of chips as sides, and I appreciate the fruits. In another visit the staff was friendly and served well even though their AC stopped working and were working with inside temp of 90 degrees!!!“
