“Amazing! Part New York Deli, part kitschy tavern, part Cuban eatery this place is not to be missed! Corned beef sandwiches sit next to Pan con Bistec and Potato latkes on a really fun menu. I had a burger with guava and it was incredibly delicious. My friend had a Jewbeun and it was a beautifully grilled delicious thing. It really is hard to pick just one thing on that menu. But the star of our meal was the Key Lime Pie! The best I have ever eaten and I have had many a slice of the real deal in the Keys! I had a hand crafted Irish Coffee with homemade whipped cream to go with it and it was worth every calorie. Soooo good! I was born in Miami and have lived in Miami almost as long as this restaurant has been in existence and lived my whole life just a few miles away from it. How I never knew about it is one of life’s little mysteries. Maybe it’s in Brigadoon. Don’t miss this little hole in the wall amazing spot for lunch, a good beer or anything else. If you want a side, the fries are OK but they are too pricey for me and the portions are small, I enjoy their Mac & cheese with burger in it, it'll make your eyes roll back in your head with each bite! Props on handling the crowds of people and getting the food out relatively fast, it's not easy. I also appreciate their late night hours. The cons: They won't put any burger dressings (lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, etc.) on the side, so if you order to go, by the time you get home, the bottom half of the bun is a wet, inedible paste. Also, there's nothing to put ketchup in. No soufflé cups, no packets, so if you order fries, you have to squirt ketchup in the container the fries are in and they get - can u guess? Are you sensing a theme here? - yes, they get soggy. Maybe spend less money on the fancy to go bags and get a sleeve of 2 oz souflee cups, or gather nip bottles, anything!“

Today, my mom was craving a Strawberry Shake so I was looking for a place to take her and SS popped up on the search. However, two minutes later, Priscilla returned and asked if it was a sparkling wine, to which I replied yes, as Lambrusco is indeed a sparkling wine. Then, a few minutes later, she brought an opened bottle of Prosecco. It is odd that she did not open the bottle in front of us and check how it tasted to proceed with the bottle. This restaurant is part of the Ritz Carlton resort in Key Biscayne and it lives up to the Ritz quality. The food is good as well, the pina coladas are amazing. The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is because the food and drinks are extremely expensive ($18 for a cocktail, $25 for a burger).“
