“Excellent caramel frapuccino. I think it's the best I've ever had in my life. Rich creamy, made with love. Here the employees are friendly and know what they are doing and they do it very well. They spoil you. A coffee, like no other, leaves a mark on you. A must or an 'every day' if you live in the heart of Key Viscane. miami“
“I was at the Ritz last weekend and the hotel was nice the room no clean at all. Very they offer a credit so it compensates. We have the club service and it was nice the best part was the service by Mike and the Venezuelan girl, sorry forgot her name. Thank you ?“

“We always come to News Café for breakfast — it’s the only spot on Ocean Drive that still feels authentic.
The staff is always friendly, the vibe is super chill, and the food never disappoints. Whether you’re into something healthy or classic American breakfast, you’ll find it here.
With its great location and iconic history, this place is a true Miami must-visit.“

“This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!!
Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent.
The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait!
Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich.
We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol.
I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped.
Bonus: maman uses the InKind app. I got a $10 off $20 discount using my app. SCORE!!!
Everything I've had at maman:
* Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant
* Eggs Ratatouille
* Croque maman
* Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich
* Sangria Tropicale
* Mom-osa
* Bellini
* Frosé
* Honey Lavendar Latte
* Espresso d'Orange
* Kouign maman
* Banana Walnut Bread
maman has about 40 locations nationwide including NY, FL, NJ, CT, DC, MD, PA, Montreal and Toronto. Check them out. You won't be sorry!“

“I travel the world and I love coffee. Panther Coffee is currently number 30 on the The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops list (November 2025). Located in the hip Wynwood neighbourhood, this place is for serious coffee lovers. I had a black iced americano. Good 'authentic' coffee. Friendly staff, good service. As soon as I took my first sip of the americano, I could tell that the staff here take pride in roasting to bring out each coffee’s unique characteristics and then carefully brew and serve the perfect coffee. It is pure skill. There is indoor seating but it is nicer to sit in the outdoor patio peacefully enjoying your drink and taking in the art of the surrounding neighbourhood.“

“The restaurant is not only aesthetically pleasing but also absolutely delicious! The food was amazing (along with the side salad - which is usually tasteless at most restaurants). The cappuccino (which you get an image printed on) was also the most delicious cappuccino I've ever tasted. I wish I lived in Miami just to go back. 10/10“

“The beignets were delicious! We didn’t get to do this but they are half off after 3PM. I also got a vanilla latte with two shots of espresso that was pretty good. The location was pretty and so close to the beach and all the hotels. Will be back!“

“We called ahead as we wanted to make sure about parking and also we had a small dog. We received a very warm positive response. There was lots of parking and our dog could be easily accommodated We came for brunch and were greeted very warmly by Juan and staff. It’s just a very nice place, coming from downtown Miami. It is still in the artsy district with lots of activity, but not right in the chaotic part of downtown Miami. We were greeted upon arrival. Juan made sure we were comfortable and took drink orders. Then the food. ( our dog was royally taken care of). We found the empanada to be excellent, the breakfast sandwiches delicious from bread to cheese, eggs and meat. Very fresh!! Our party had wonderful juice combinations and we had an expresso- all were excellent. It was a wonderful experience and we’d come back in a minute. Thankyou Juan!! PS the bathrooms were absolutely wonderful and clean too!!❤️❤️“

The atmosphere was very nice. The pricing was very good. We got three coffees and spent less than $18. The owner was very welcoming, and the coffee came out very quickly. “For coffee shops, I base them off of the atmosphere first since I usually do work at them with the coffee quality being just as important. The atmosphere here was amazing, it is tucked away with plants and gives you a nice cozy area. The coffee was great quality and the service was great. Pricing can be more than normal but I am fine with it paying for the scenery.“

“Food was delicious! Service was great, they don’t do reservations but they quickly got us a table for two for brunch on the weekend. Yuli was a great waitress, she took good care of us. Food came out rather quickly, so it was overall a nice experience with good food. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but hey, it is Miami.“

“One of the best restaurants in Miami, good quality food, good customer service, good management, acceptable prices. Variety of Cuban foods and deserts. The most impressing point I think is the management, very busy restauran especially in the weekends, but they still maintain the service in a good level. And providing jobs for the local community. Very impressive. Don't forget mojito bar in the backyard!“

“Very friendly and relaxed place to chill and cool down. Lots of flavors and strains to choose from. I am still waiting for any type of effect even if I had two of these drinks but I never feel anything. However, lots of people came in to order and walk around with the kava in their hands afterwards.“

“I stumbled upon Umbria Cafe early in the morning during my run in South Beach after realizing I was out of coffee at home. Just a few blocks from my place, I found this cozy spot and ordered a single espresso. The gentleman asked if it was for here or to go. I said for here. To my surprise, the espresso was served in a proper porcelain cup with a small glass of sparkling water. I was shocked.
I have visited countless coffee shops across the U.S., including the so-called fancy ones like Starbucks, and none have ever served espresso the authentic Italian way with water on the side. That simple gesture instantly transported me back to Italy in Rome, Milan, or Florence, where espresso is treated like an art form.
The coffee itself was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The sparkling water added the perfect touch, refreshing and ideal for cleansing the palate after a delicious espresso. That moment alone earned this café five stars.
If you appreciate true coffee culture, Umbria Cafe is a gem worth visiting.“

“Nice spot to kill some time while my son ran an errand. Good cortado made with fresh fragrant roast. Almond butter toast was good, but I’d request more almond butter and less honey next time. Acid jazz music was at a reasonable level allowing conversation. There are plugs near some of the tables. Furniture is metal & hardwood- no plush couch style seating FWIW. Fresh beans are $18-$23 / 12oz. bag.“

“If you’re a true coffee snob the quality of bean here is THE BEST in Miami. The caffeine is strong and rich. Yes it’s pricey but I can TASTE why. The staff are always sweet and i come very regularly. The only place I will happily pay a premium price tag for because that is what they give.“

“A hidden gem in Brickell. I’ve tried most of the coffee shops and this is one of the better quality preparations I’ve had! Not the friendliest service though but for good coffee it’s a trade off I’m willing to make. They have a few delicious looking pastries available for purchase. The lobby area it was in was so peaceful on a Saturday morning. Seems like a nice quiet spot to post up on the weekends. I will definitely be back. Vanilla Latte with skim was close to $8.“

“I don’t often make the time to write reviews, though I should because so many small businesses in the Wynwood/Downtown area have to compete with big corporate brands moving in with massive budgets and marketing power. Meanwhile, small owner-operated businesses wake up every day and run their shops with genuine passion for the local community. A community that’s incredibly transient in this area.
But there are still plenty of us who call this place home, I have for 10 years and at Vice, the owner and staff make it feel exactly like that — home.
Great coffee. Great community.
Thank you, Vice, for continuing to care about quality and for preserving that familiar hometown feel in a bustling metropolis.“

Update: we still come, usually multiple times each week. Love the espresso drinks esp cappuccino and those big fluffy croissants.“

“For a selfish moment, I debated whether or not to review this spot so that I could keep it all to myself. Fortunately, my higher self won out because this place is too incredible to gatekeep. The crossaints are life changing, the fresh sourdough is the best I've had, and the foccacia (bacon and caramelized onion!) was unreal. I'll definitely be going back to try their full breakfast menu.“
