My extended family has been frequenting La Scala for years and the staff was always accommodating - often bringing takeout orders to the curb when they saw us pull up to the storefront. I recently moved to the key and was looking to lease a commercial property in the same plaza, so I introduced myself to the Owner, Chandra. This was our favorite restaurant in Key Biscayne. The owners are incredible. The food is top notch and influenced from Northern Italy. I loved the chicken parmigiana. However, believe it or not my favorite item was the key lime pie. I ate probably 20 pieces of key lime all through the Keys and they simply had the best.
