Panda Express in Kissimmee

“I normally love to share happy experiences with food, travel and entertainment venues but today I had a bad experience at one of my favorite Chinese Fast food restaurants in Kissimmee, Florida. There was a new item on the menu at Panda Express and it was featured on a sign outside in the parking lot as a BBQ Brisket and marketed by the employees inside and priced as a premium entree with a surcharge. I asked for a sample and was told this product was not allowed to be sampled and I listened to the recommendation of the employee and purchased this entree as one of the three entrees on my bigger platter. To my shock when I shared this food with my friend, the BBQ Brisket was too spicy and we both did not like it and would not order it again. The fried rice and the lo mein were both not up to anything we have enoyed or expected at a Panda Express. I approached the counter with this and just told the male employee that the BBQ Brisket was not good. I asked if it would be possible to have a different entree. He informed me that there were two pieces left and I said we both tried it and hoped that the spiciness was just a fluke and not in all of the pieces and we hated it and wanted the company to know that there was no mention of this being a spicy dish and there is something wrong with this food today. The employee acted as if we were trying to take advantage of the company and I assured him that I'm really just trying to let you know there's something wrong. He would not do anything and I really was so disappointed -- which never happens at Panda and someone just needed to hear me out that there was a problem with the food here today. The chicken Terriyaki was fabulous. The Fried Wontons were fine and enjoyable. The fried rice, lo mein and BBQ Brisket needed to get dumped -Nobody seemed to care and they definitely did not want to give me anything else or try to have me leave as a satisfied customer. I came to Panda because it usually makes me happy. I am a regular Panda customer in South Florida and this was the first PANDA I experienced in Kissimmee, Florida.“

“Got a bright, cheery welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Restaurant was bright and clean. Staff was friendly, positive and helpful. Food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend and we will definitely be frequently this place regularly.“
