Discriminatory Treatment at MovieGrill Toward Individuals with Diabetes — A Violation of Civil Rights

I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by my recent experience on July 13,2025 at a MovieGrill theater, where I was denied access to food I need to manage my diabetes. I informed the manager that the food was medically necessary and that we also intended to purchase food from the theater. Despite this, I was told I would have to leave the auditorium and eat in the lobby.

On 5/24/2025 went to the movies with my family, when i tried to go to the bathroom I was told they were closed due to plumbing problems. Everyone had to leave. I sent the company an email they apologized and stated I would receive some passes to future movies. I sent my name and address and its over a month and a half and nothing either in mailbox or email. Thats why i would give them a -10 and will look elsewhere for movies some place who care about customers

My family of seven and I attended a showing of 28 Years Later about a week ago. My daughter and her fiancé arrived at the theater early and kindly placed a food order ahead of time for the rest of us. We arrived before the previews began, so we were all seated well before the movie started.
