“We did not have a reservation but heard the outdoor and indoor bar are full service and open seating so we decided to give it a go. We came at dinner time, but a little later about 7:30 or 8:30pm ish. And there were open seats at the bar. Bar service was fine, we sat on the end so we were ignored a tiny bit. We ordered a refill moonshine (you can get a refillable squeeze bottle), and a wine. We ordered the church lady deviled eggs because we had heard they were good. We enjoyed them but we felt they didn’t live up to the hype, but we ate them all. We each ordered a chicken sandwich, one spicy and one not. And we got mac and cheese for a side. The chicken is perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, flavorful, and crispy. The mac and cheese is perfectly browned and super cheesy and flavorful, everything was a home run. We will definitely be back in the future. And be sure to check out the bar if you don’t have a reservation!

We had been here years ago and wanted to come back again! Our server was so outgoing and friendly, and she explained some of her favorites on the menu. We tried some moonshine as well as some sangria. We got the smothered chicken and boy was this more than enough to share! It came with sides and a huge piece of chicken. The chicken was so good, it was moist and tender and flavorful. It was even still amazing as leftovers the next day. We also got the chicken and dumpling soup which was basically deconstructed chicken pot pie. It was a large portion and was pretty good. We also got the regular and the hot chicken sandwich with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was sooo good and the chicken sandwiches were eaten so fast because they were so good. This place is known for its fried chicken and it is easy to see why. We will definitely be coming back here again when time allows us, because everything was a home run from service to food to drinks.“

“Reasonably priced and located near the water with views of the floating electric parade. The only downside is that it is entirely outdoors so it can be uncomfortably hot or cold. It's not connected to the main lodge so if it's raining, you'll get wet walking here. My favorite was the campfire mousse. Beautiful and delicious.“

Tucked out of the way near the pool I arrived a few mins before closing after a long day and night in the parks and was not expecting any hot food to still be available but the staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone in line who wanted a late pizza! The FB Director then walked the new salmon to our table, waited for my girlfriend to cut into it and approve and it was delicious. They even got us a dessert on the house. “Absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices. Sandwich was around $12 and included a big bag (1.5 oz) of chips. Pumpkin cheesecake seems seasonal and was perfectly spiced. We split the meal and came in under $10/person and left stuffed. Only frustrating part were the mosquitos. No inside eating area and while outside was relaxing with Christmas music playing, we were constantly being bit by mosquitoes. Also really missing the key lime tart they had here for years.“

“Catalina Eddie’s is a convenient outdoor quick serve spot on Sunset Blvd (on the way to Tower of Terror) offering pizza, salad, and meatball subs. We decided to try all three, and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve seen some reviews saying the pizza wasn’t great, but I disagree. It was hot, fresh, with melty cheese and a good amount of sauce. The crust is on the thicker side, so if you’re a thin crust fan, this might not be for you, but I enjoyed it.

The meatball sub was solid too. While the bread wasn’t my favorite, it was sturdy and held up, which is key when you don’t want a messy sub at Disney. The Caesar salad was a good size, but it was a little on the warmer side since they pre-make the cups, kind of like how McDonald’s pre-makes their fries to keep the service fast.

A nice bonus is that you can get free cups of iced water here, which is great for staying hydrated in the park.

You can either order at the counter or use mobile ordering through the Disney app, which makes things super easy. This particular day, the cast members did not acknowledge me for quite a while when I arrived the mobile order. They seemed “busy” doing their job. It only takes a few seconds to say “will be right with you” as you’re filling water or putting food under the heat lamps.

There’s also plenty of outdoor, covered seating, shared with Rosie’s All-American Café next door. There are fans and heating lamps to make the seating area comfortable, no matter the weather.
