“Our family went here for lunch while at the hotel pool. The shady area was nice and cool. Plenty of available seating. Their computer system was down so it did take a really long time for ordering and to pay at the end. The food and drinks were good except my husband hates mayonnaise based condiments and he ordered his burger plain with nothing on it. It came out with a ton of some kind of creamy sauce and lots of it. He just wiped it off with a napkin as we didn't want to wait for a new one. I think the computer system issue must have thrown everyone off today. Service was friendly. Wings were great. Atmosphere was excellent.“

“We visited Universal over spring break and stopped by Moe’s tavern for lunch. I have celiac disease and they were able to accommodate not only the burger, but also included gluten free tater tots- which was a nice surprise! Steve came around to our table and was so helpful and kind - phenomenal service and really made what was initially a quick lunch stop into a special lunch. Thank you, Steve and kitchen staff!!“

“The food was great we shared a 22oz ribeye and crab cake appetizer. Our waiter was good, not overly attentive but also not asking us every 3 minutes how everything was which was nice to be able to enjoy dinner without talking to the waiter with a mouthful. Drinks were okay, I got an old fashioned tasted a little syrupy and came with no garnishing wasn't overly impressed especially being an upscale steakhouse expected a great cocktail. Overall a good experience and would probably try it again.“

“It's about what you expect and it's pretty decent. Quality is good and portions are generous, and service was friendly and very pleasant. My daughter enjoyed her hot dog and I enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger. And nothing like sitting by the little oasis poolside at the resort. It was a good first meal during our weekend stay.“

Stopped by Atomic Tonic at Cabana Bay for a quick lunch by the pool. I ordered the Beef Hoagie Philly Cheesesteak and the standout was easily the bun—perfectly toasted, soft, and held up until the very last bite. The shaved meat had a nice sear and the peppers and onions were spot on.
My only critique is that it was a bit dry. While the melted provolone was good, a bit of cheese sauce would have taken it to the next level. I ended up adding hot sauce to help, as condiment options were a little limited. Service was lightning-fast and sitting in the shade by the pool made for a perfect atmosphere. Definitely a solid choice if you’re staying at the resort!“

“Ok the food is NOT amazing by any means. It is decent but I gave 4 stars for convenience and fair pricing (for a resort). We came here because we got in late and didn’t feel like going to Disney Springs for dinner. I appreciated being able to walk somewhere and get food my family could/would eat. Chicken tenders and fries for the kids which they liked. I had a burger which was decent, no complaints other than the meat quality is definitely not something you’d get at a nice burger joint. We also got chicken wings which were…ok. Flavor good, meat, again, questionable. Service was good. So if you’re in a rush or arriving late, definitely give it a try. If you have time/energy to drive elsewhere for dinner, do that.“

“Cat-tails is an awesome poolside bar and restaurant at Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando! The pools side menu is phenomenal. They offer something for everyone from burgers and chicken tender to a hummus plate and a super grain bowl! It is all amazing……. But…. Yes, unfortunately there is a but….. they took probably the most amazing sandwich that I ( and I can speak for may others after speaking to other guest ) have ever had off of the menu! Disappointed is not a strong enough adjective to say how sad we were when we went to go order one on our first day here to find out it was gone!!!!! We brag all year long to our friends back home at just how incredibly delicious this darn chicken sandwich is and how much we look forward to having it year after year when we come to RSC…….. so RSC, we are begging you to please bring back the crispy chicken sandwich at Cat-tails! “This place definitely has the most food options compared to The Kitchen and Velvet bar. Bartenders were excellent and I really enjoyed myself on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The bartenders have been at this place for 20 years and that says a lot. I struck up a conversation with a regular named Daryl that has been coming here for as long as the bartenders have been here. “My husband and I visited this hotel for one night. The pool bar was great! Shady area for hanging at the bar or doing a “grab and go” at the pool. Service has been top notch, offering to bring our food poolside when it was ready - which was always really quick. GREAT Cobb salad (pictured) with ripe avocado, egg, and cherry tomatoes. We will definitely come here again!“

THE BAR is outstanding. Great selection of beers, both the big name brands and some delicious local breweries. In the same high level are the cocktails, very creative and phenomenal taste.
Our favorites were the CORE DENSITY and the GRS. The staff is also very friendly. 10/10 experience.

THEL GRILL is great as well. You can order straight from the pool, via a QRCode, and pick up at a side window (the app wasn't updating correctly when I was there, but the Hotel had just opened, so perhaps they will have fixed it by the time you read this) either way, check with them if you think your food should already be done. I highly recommend the HUMMUS & PITA.
It's a great choice if you’re relaxing by the pool, or on their outside tables.

And seriously, don’t overlook the cocktails!“

“This was a great little hotel bar and grill. Atmosphere was 10/10. Right by the pool. Someone was playing steal drums right beside the bar and the bartender was great! I had shrimp tacos with chips and salsa. The food here isn’t going to change your life but it is good. The tortillas were fresh. The cilantro garlic sauce made the tacos very good. Shrimp had a nice char to them. Chips were pretty standard and the salsa was the Heinz salsa cup. But it was good. My husband got their special which was bourbon bbq pork sandwich and fries and it was also great. The pineapple punch cocktail was also awesome! View the menu on the Sheraton Vacation Club site. It has the most up to date menu compared to other sites.“

“This is a great place to grab some lunch and seat in a shaded patio at Typhoon Lagoon. Our mobile order was ready relatively quickly and we were able to find a table easily. We enjoyed the pork elote nachos, they had great flavor and nice fresh corn salsa and pico de Gallo. We did wish they came with actual queso though rather than queso fresco. Fries and other standard fast food fare were nice and fresh.“

“My recent stay at The Grande Cove at Marriott's Grande Vista Resort in Orlando was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Whether you're in town for the theme parks, a golf getaway, or just looking for a relaxing vacation with all the comforts of home, this place hits the mark on every level.

The accommodations were incredibly spacious and spotless. I stayed in a multi-bedroom villa, and it felt more like a high-end condo than a hotel room. The suite featured a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, multiple TVs, and a private balcony with serene views of the resort’s beautifully landscaped grounds. It was perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Orlando.

The Grande Cove area is peaceful and quiet, but still centrally located within the resort, making it easy to access everything. Whether it was the main pool area, the clubhouse, or the walking paths around the lakes and golf course, everything was within walking distance or just a quick ride on one of the resort shuttles.

Speaking of the pools – they were immaculate and family-friendly, with plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas. The main pool had activities for kids, while other areas were quieter for adults looking to relax. The on-site restaurant and bar had a great variety of food and drinks, and it was nice not having to leave the resort for a casual bite or tropical cocktail.

One thing that really stood out was the attention to service and cleanliness. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. Every area we visited was spotless and well-maintained, from the fitness center to the lobby to the grilling areas.

Location-wise, the resort is just a short drive from Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, yet it feels like a secluded retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved being close to all the major attractions while still having a peaceful home base to return to.

The resort also offers tons of amenities—a market for snacks and essentials, a spa, golf, bike rentals, a game room, and scheduled activities for both kids and adults. There really is something for everyone here, whether you want to relax or stay active.

In short, The Grande Cove at Marriott’s Grande Vista Resort is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Orlando. It's clean, safe, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends, families, or couples looking for a well-rounded, comfortable, and luxurious resort experience.“

“We were disappointed to see that Drafts had closed, but after trying Sid’s it was a good replacement. It has a cool bar, outdoor patio, and a nice atmosphere inside that is more of a restaurant, than Drafts was more of a bar and grill type. The menu had a little bit of every type of food, so plenty of variety. The drink menu was impressive with many cocktail options; the smoked old fashion was a hit! We had the manager who seated us and was very friendly and our server, Connie, was wonderful! A nice addition for Westgate guests to eat on site.“

“Their cuisine is a food truck that parks on the side of the bar. Was there Sunday took some tacos Al pastor that were good...but sadly the sauce dripped on my dress.

Bar played good music 🎶 and there was lots of people for a Sunday night. Looks like they are not too used to see white women there, I was the only one. Beer was less expensive (5$/Corona) then the bar I've been the previous night (Cuba Libre) and there was no cover charge to enter. Returned on Monday only 2 clients on site (around 10-10:30 pm) who left shortly after I arrived“

He made superb recommendations which counts for something bc my 9 yr old niece told me “someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing”… she can be a picky eater. The banana pudding was the icing on the cake; my expectations were exceeded bc I never experienced such an authentic and robust dessert from a commercial restaurant. Dorrine, I think that I her name, and Kayla are great additions in the mix as well, as they stopped by multiple times to engage in conversation. “I was a little taken aback when we walked in and we were all but the only ones. They weren't able to hook us up with draft beer so ice cold beer in a can did just fine. “Came here for a world cup game. Was unsure how it would be from the pubs back in the uk. This bar is great, more screens than I can count showing the game so no matter where you were you had a great View. The staff are brilliant and kept the drinks flowing, thanks Christi for keeping the drinks flowing.
Not rushed at our table and staff were more than happy for us to keep the table for the entire game, nachos were amazing and the largest portion I’ve ever seen.
