“My first visit was today for lunch and I had their special of any two slices of pizza and a soda. I love that they don’t limit you to just cheese or pepperoni. I had the stuffed pizza and the buffalo chicken and it was amazing. I also tried the garlic knots which were magnificent. Very friendly family run business and I couldn’t recommend it more! Check out this hidden gem in Lake Helen.“

“Urban Brick - DeLand, FL I've been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and I don't often write reviews -- but Urban Brick really deserves one! I've been here several times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing -- full of flavor and clearly made with care. They're known for their Italian dishes, and as someone who once owned an Italian restaurant myself, I can honestly say they're doing it right. The service is excellent too -- friendly, attentive, and genuine. Last night I had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was just perfect. My cousin had the catch of the day and said it was incredible. We finished with the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Huge thanks to whoever runs this wonderful place. You're doing an outstanding job. Can't wait to come back!“

“The pizza at Italiano's Pizza had a really satisfying homemade feel to it. The crust was crisp around the edges but still soft enough in the middle, and the sauce had a nice balance of tangy and savory flavors. We went with a pepperoni pizza and added some garlic knots for the table. Everything arrived hot, and the leftovers held up surprisingly well the next day. A simple pizza night done right.“

“We ordered from Stoner's Pizza Joint for a relaxed night at home and went with a loaded pizza, wings, and some cheesy bread. The pizza had a good amount of toppings without feeling overloaded, and the crust had a nice chew with crispy edges. The wings held up well with the sauce, and the cheesy bread disappeared pretty quickly. Everything arrived hot, which made the whole order feel fresh rather than like typical delivery food.“

“I don't want to travel far because I live and my grandson has a picky eater and will only eat certain pizza so we figured we'd try Marcos and surprisingly they're homemade pizzas individually my grandson got to watch part of it, there was one person running the whole show and my 7 year old grandson like it, but the briskets tea that we bought tasted like cucumber water so I reported it to Pepsi I don't believe it had anything to do with Marcos it was a closed bottle. Fast and friendly Ryan Anthony Ralph and Elizabeth worked as a team to handle high volume orders but greeted me with a smile and Elizabeth was so kind wishing each customer a good day with a priceless smile then right back to work Ryan the manager broke the menu down and helped me find right dish for me to eat and help a homeless man who has no food. The owner Brad was even spoke in Spanish the help a customer and it’s just beautiful to see Ralph and Anthony and the whole team work together to meet each guests needs in every way. “Time for a new review. Last time I visited I was pretty cruel. But after a few years my wife and I decided to visit Hungry Howie's Deland again to see how they've done.

The store is remarkably cleaned up, with new drink equipment, new counter tops and tile work. The old ratty tables have all been replaced with much better stuff that fits their business better.

The employees aren't just friendly, it's apparent that they are happy to work there and their focus is on the customer. My previous time there the parmesan cheese and pepper flakes had been replaced by a sign that if you wanted them you'd be paying extra. The dispensers for in-store eaters are back, as are the napkins! The customer focus of the place is striking.

We ordered two large pizzas, one with two kinds of pepperoni and the other with double sausage and no marinara sauce. That drives my wife's digestive system into full revolt and I don't need to get into the details. She took or order and then repeated it back to ensure it was right. That didn't happen last time!

Then, as some here have remarked, the kitchen made one of the pizzas wrong. But instead of just handing the pizza to us and daring us to find the problem, the server announced the problem and asked if we could take the time for them to make a pizza the way we ordered. We didn't have to catch the problem, THEY did and then they proposed a solution.

We accepted and she let us keep the mistakenly made one as well. The pizzas were great. The crust was tasty, the Cajun seasoning was perfect, the sauce was flavorful with a great mix of spice, the cheese was perfect and there was lots of it. But the biggest improvement of all was that the pepperonis were crowded all over my pizza. I had more in one slice than I had on the entire pizza last time. And they tasted incredible, taking the focus of the flavor in an assertive way like pepperoni is supposed to. The sausage pizza was similar, with more sausage on one slice than we got on the entire pizza when we gave Hungry Howie's a well deserved bad review last time.

Hungry Howie's DeLand is 100% redeemed. Now the place is fun to visit, has great food and greater employees. What an amazing turnaround!“

“I tried dominoes because other places I’ve ordered from lately left items out of my orders (2 different restaurants) back to back times. I set up my rewards on one and it never would go through and didn’t give me my points after spending a lot for a party. They were like idk and didn’t even try to help because I did it right in front of them. Their app sucks too. BUT dominoes has been so nice and easy to order online. Delivery is fast and believe or not the delivery driver left my extra sauces in the car and I’m like dang three times in a row! With 3 different restaurants lol I left it alone and didn’t even call to complain, I dont do that, I WILL let people know when things are good. So the guy realized it on the delivery after mine and he came back to my house just to bring the sauces to me. I just ordered again today and everything was perfect and reasonably priced. And so yummy! My husbands picky and he loves it too so win win“

“This Dominos…. Let me tell you something, I almost didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want more people ordering here. lol This is my second time ordering at this location. I ordered a Philly pie going on a few months ago and that pie was one of the best Dominos pizzas I’ve had in a minute! Went last night to order cheesy bread and that was the best cheesy bread I’ve had in a lonnnnnnngggggg time. I have a closer Dominos literally about four minutes from me and I’d rather drive the extra miles and order from this location for pick up. They were friendly when I came in , the food came out fresh and one of the best experiences I’ve had a long time with a Dominos. Keep up the great work. Your hard work and effort does not go unnoticed. Oh and I’m kinda fat, I know good food! So trust me!“

“This location is so consistently good. We ordered 8 Pizzas during the peak time this Friday. I showed up 25 minutes after ordering and they were obviously busy.... the pizzas were ready to go! “This store was amazing when my pizza was mysteriously misplaced by the door dash driver. The managers attention to detail noticed my ordered had been sitting as not delivered for 20 minutes after it was already picked up and should have already been delivered. She immediately called me to verify. When I told her I had not received my order yet, she said wait another 10 minutes and give us a call back and we will take care of it. And she did just that. So thank you for caring about your customers. I will definitely be ordering from this location again with how that manager runs her store. My pizza and other items were very delicious as well!!!!“

“This Domino's location did really well with our pizza. We got the 9.99 large pizza any toppings deal. It was cooked perfect and the service was fast. This store is actually located inside of the Walmart entry as soon as you walk in. They also will deliver car side when you pull up.“

“Wow!!! I'm a Cicis fanatic. I really love the pizza varieties!! So when I'm traveling and hungry, a cicis is a great find. I usually go to the Sanford location. Sometimes the one on I drive. Both could use improvements. Staff is usually just doing their job, no extra effort, no communication to you. But today we stopped at this one on Volusia Ave in Orange City. the entire staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed! Not just at register, as you walk the buffet, then sitting at table, offering varieties, then bringing them to you! We talked to the mgr, he explained how he remodeled to make

“This one is tricky. The food is good. A little pricey, but good. The service is almost always friendly, and it is a regular stop for us. I really like the meatballs and spaghetti. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but you are there for the food. We've never eaten in, always take out because it gets crowded and difficult to get a table. The take out can take a LONG time, so if that's the plan call well ahead of when you plan on eating.
