I had the pleasure of talking with Louis. His smile is on 100. His energy is so lovely. He truly brightened my day. I told him we were there because it was my daughter's 12th birthday and she picked Dave's hot chicken for her birthday meal. He gave her one of your little chicken toys, let her pick a drink, and wished her a happy birthday. He really added something special to our day. The world needs more Louis's! Thank you so much!
This place is very good. There chicken is great. The sauce is ok.
I was assisted by Aly or Halle (so sorry I didn’t catch her name). She was great! Very courteous. Management please recognize and promote them:) thank you

Dave’s Hot Chicken is a bit pricier but worth it for the amazing chicken and big portions. The extra hot spice level strikes a good balance between heat and flavor, although those who prefer milder options can choose the mild chicken. The tenders are double the size of other places, and the chicken is incredibly fresh and tasty with different heat levels available. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the drive-thru service is quick. The ambiance is also good, with cool art worked canvas and different patterns and decorations at various locations. This spot is a great find in Lake Mary, a solid chicken spot offering cereal milkshakes, hi-c slushies, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches. The food is phenomenal and sets the bar for chicken.
