“Food was really good and service was delightful. We basically popped in because we were both hungry and thought 'why not?'. Very pleased with the entire experience. Would recommend. This is an older establishment that has been well attended over the years. Don't let the age scare you away. Very good.“

“Island Fin Poké Company in The Villages is a gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly smile and a warm, welcoming vibe. The freshness of the ingredients here is unmatched—everything tastes incredibly vibrant and flavorful. I love how customizable the bowls are; you can truly make it your own with a wide variety of proteins, toppings, and sauces. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful if you’re new to poké, and the cleanliness of the space is always spot-on. If you’re looking for a healthy, delicious meal in The Villages (Brownwood), this is the spot to go! I can’t recommend it enough—Island Fin Poké Company will definitely become one of my favorite places to eat.“

“I love love love their fried pork chops and fried green tomatoes when they have them. My daddy loves the bang bang shrimp and my husband loves the chicken sandwich, both my brothers like the chicken tenders with hot sauce. Fries are a standard side for everyone’s plate, cooked to perfection!I only have one issue with this place and it’s they aren’t open on the weekends, we drive 40min from Zephyrhills and after playing ball all day or washing cars we wished it was open on weekends,being that some of us don’t have the luxury of being off on a weekday. One time I even took off work just to come here, and they closed early on a Tuesday. Here we are on a Sunday after church all we want is Big O’s. ?“

“First time here. Great dinner. However, we didn’t receive any bread after receiving our drinks. I asked the waitress for some and she brought 4 small breadsticks. Never mentioned that I would be charged $3!! Unreal. How cheap is this restaurant owner? His greed for my $3 just cost them soooo much more because I’ll never go back.“

“Terrific surprise! Ordered dinner twice from China Chef. Food was very enjoyable. Portions were enormous. It used to be that the ONLY reliable flavorful Chinese restaurant in or near The Villages was Yummy House in Ocala. China Chef may indeed change that.“

“Really enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere. Service was great. We will be back for sure! My only wish is that you had some sort of senior menu or would allow seniors to order from the lunch menu. My Mom is 87 and hadn’t been in a while. With a fixed income, price is important to her and she just doesn’t eat as much as she used to. And while you can always bring food home, a smaller serving would just be appreciated. Some area restaurants do let her order from the lunch menu for dinner and even offer it. Just something to maybe consider. ❤️“
