“4 of us had dinner at Belle and Maxeell’s Saturday night, May 28, 2022. This was our 2nd visit. It won’t be our last. As before, the food was extraordinary. Unfortunately, as so many restaurants, right now, they were severely short handed however, we truly never noticed. The servers took exceptional care of us. Topping off our meal was THE BEST RICOTTA CHEESECAKE we’ve ever eaten. Thank you Belle and Maxwell's for making my Birthday special.“

I had a strawberry matcha tini and it might have been the best drink I’ve had in a long time. And I like trying unique foods, so I tried their lamb burger, the honey goat cheese paired with the sauce was phenomenal and it was cooked perfectly! “We had the most enchanting evening with friends at the Sims House. Starting with Southwestern Eggrolls, Sriracha edamame and prosciutto-wrapped figs, each dish bursting with flavor. The locally caught fish were cooked to perfection as was my steak dish and salad. An impressive wine list and a host of beers... sitting under palm trees with twinkling lights... everything was magical. It's so nice to be able to enjoy our weather dining alfresco. All dishes were done to perfection (wish I had taken photos). We enjoyed desserts of creme brulee and chocolate brownie cheesecake. Should you take the pleasure of the Sims House, you won't be disappointed.“

“The food was fresh and expertly-prepared as my family watched from the lunch counter. The staff was friendly, engaging and efficient. The dive appearance from outside and spartan decor I read about in other reviews did not even matter. The coconut shrimp with key lime sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted. My son had the dolphin (mahi-mahi) fingers and loved them. My husband had the shrimp scampi linguini. We were all well-pleased.“

Please be aware that their kr&tom is very strong!!! Tho. It’s very earthy too. Try the Mermaid flavor in your tea for a unique flavor!

There’s a pool table but no dart board. They have some chips and candy for food but no empanadas or chicken tenders like most other kava bars.

“I came in for the first time ready to spend money and the bartender got our order, then came back and started mumbling (sounded plastered) kept saying a different price 6 then 4 than 9 than 11 then he said 10 so i asked what it was to clarify and he sighed, took my drink and asked the next person their order completely ignoring me holding cash in my hand ready to pay (and tip) never will come back rudest service I've experienced in my life. white guy with. beard was my bartender. he also skipped the person in front of us because they weren't saying their order fast enough while he was trying to buy like 8 drinks. this business is loosing money from this guy. horrible. so we went down the road to mangos where they were respectful and got all our money.“

BUTttttt …… the AC had a loud high pitch hum, so you couldn’t hear anyone speak, even with microphones- not sure if a speaker issue, or AC issue, but was frustrating to not hear the musicians when they spoke!! Will come again, but NOT sit at same table!! Also- before the show even started, toilet paper empty in some stalls in ladies room…. Cmon guys!! Really?????? New venue issues, I know!!! “The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. The room itself was small but comfortable. You have to ask for a coffee machine. I would have liked a kettle to make tea. Or they should offer tea with the Nespresso machine that you need to request. The bathroom was very nice. The main pool was beautiful and so was the beach. They offer a Tesla shuttle service to Worth Avenue if you want to go shopping ort to a restaurant. It was a unique experience.“

“I had the Penne alla vodka and it was delicious! My partner had the lemon linguini and it was “okay.” The service was superb and the hotel is so aesthetically beautiful a with a couple instagrammable spots if that’s your thing hehe (it was mine).“
