“We had the most enchanting evening with friends at the Sims House. Starting with Southwestern Eggrolls, Sriracha edamame and prosciutto-wrapped figs, each dish bursting with flavor. The locally caught fish were cooked to perfection as was my steak dish and salad. An impressive wine list and a host of beers... sitting under palm trees with twinkling lights... everything was magical. It's so nice to be able to enjoy our weather dining alfresco. All dishes were done to perfection (wish I had taken photos). We enjoyed desserts of creme brulee and chocolate brownie cheesecake. Should you take the pleasure of the Sims House, you won't be disappointed.“

“I came in for the first time ready to spend money and the bartender got our order, then came back and started mumbling (sounded plastered) kept saying a different price 6 then 4 than 9 than 11 then he said 10 so i asked what it was to clarify and he sighed, took my drink and asked the next person their order completely ignoring me holding cash in my hand ready to pay (and tip) never will come back rudest service I've experienced in my life. white guy with. beard was my bartender. he also skipped the person in front of us because they weren't saying their order fast enough while he was trying to buy like 8 drinks. this business is loosing money from this guy. horrible. so we went down the road to mangos where they were respectful and got all our money.“

“We went to dinner late and what's not better than a taco bar, a tequila bar! We had guacamole made at our table. Alice did a fine job picking out the right avocados. It was blended to perfection. The cerviche had pomegranate seeds that added just the burst of flavor to pop out the irresistible blend of the dish. The mochajete was served sizzling with 2 hot sauces that were to die for, habenero and Chipotle. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

BUTttttt …… the AC had a loud high pitch hum, so you couldn’t hear anyone speak, even with microphones- not sure if a speaker issue, or AC issue, but was frustrating to not hear the musicians when they spoke!! Will come again, but NOT sit at same table!! Also- before the show even started, toilet paper empty in some stalls in ladies room…. Cmon guys!! Really?????? New venue issues, I know!!! “I always experience the warmest greeting from all of the staff. Ruth, Gigi, Ronald, Juan, and jimena & Sophia in the cafe-always so sweet and offering new drinks ect. Feels like home when you eat there or get coffee. Havnt stayed there yet as I am a local, but for food and morning coffee-that place and the people in it make you feel so special! “The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. The room itself was small but comfortable. You have to ask for a coffee machine. I would have liked a kettle to make tea. Or they should offer tea with the Nespresso machine that you need to request. The bathroom was very nice. The main pool was beautiful and so was the beach. They offer a Tesla shuttle service to Worth Avenue if you want to go shopping ort to a restaurant. It was a unique experience.“

The staff are friendly, they’re old-fashioned in the best possible way, and it’s a wonderful way to kick off any trip. Recommend: the burger, the prime rib au jus sandwich (the best ever), fried chicken sandwich, macho salad, tuna tartare, shrimp cocktail (they are legit the size of lobsters) and devilled eggs. Everyone goes crazy for their fries — which are unique — tiny crunchy little guys. Get the spicy mayo on the side and the garlic salt for the fries.

The cocktails are delish. We love their Spicy Margaritas, Old Fashioneds and Negronis. They have a Caymus Cab by the glass which is medium to full bodied and is delish too. If you want a light beer they have a great Kolsch.“
