“At the entrance you walk into a small cafe-like area, with bar seating and small cafe tables. The man behind the bar said hi and told me to sit anywhere. I sat in the main dining room for quite awhile, they weren't all that busy, but nobody brought me a menu or asked what I wanted to drink. There was lots of seating but the openness created a cavernous atmosphere with sounds bouncing off the walls, very loud! So after nearly 10 minutes of waiting I got up and went back to the reception area to get a menu and moved over to the cafe area. I was pleasantly surprised at the diner style variety of dishes, but the prices were not designed for hard working locals, they were about 20% - 25% higher than everywhere else comparable and obviously designed for our winter travelers. Still nobody came by to offer me a drink or to take my order, so I took the hint and left.“

“I don't give 5 stars a lot. Usually things are ok. But all the food we received was amazingly good. The staff was friendly and more than helpful in finding out answers for our questions.This is now a place we will revisit at every chance while in Sebring or lake placid.They informed that they will soon stop the BBQ brisket, so get it while you can.(They also played good music, and appears they have cornhole and some other activities)“
“What a wonderful surprise! Came the back way from fort lauderdale to Orlando and found a gem! Local gator tail was the best gator I ever had...so juicey and tender and French dip was yum...waitresses was perfect attentive and great personality! If ur out here stop by!!! Oh and draft beer was 1.75!“

“We always stop by this little diner on our way through the state on Highway 27.. i really like their breakfasts.. Plenty of parking even when we are towing our Airstream or my 36ft center console... never had a bad meal and the wait staff is always friendly. Saydi was very nice.. new owners are doing a nice job.“
“We always enjoy visiting Jaxons! Food is always great! Highly recommend the prime rib, fish fry, sweet potato fries, sweet + spicy wings, fried mushrooms, and cold peel n eat shrimp appetizer.. if you like horseradish then you will LOVE their cocktail sauce.“
“Our first visit was on a night where they had bingo ( we didn't know they had bingo). The place was packed. The wait staff was extremely busy but did their best to keep up. Our food was good. My wife had a garlic steak sandwich and I had the chicken mash bowl. We would get them again. Due to the noise level I gave the atmosphere a 3. We will go back. We know now to check the calendar first to see if any event is planned.“
“Eating at Sandy's is always a pleasure, it's a local eatery catering to local people but welcoming of new comers as well. Always expect to be greated by pleasant staff and enjoy great home cooking, there may on occasion be a wait, but that in itself shows how popular this little diner is, don't get ruffled, be patient and you won't regret the wait. “Wonderful little hometown diner! Apparently, it's popular with the locals and visitors to the area as well. We were lucky to have used Google to learn about it.Our waitress was great. When there was a slight delay in our food prep, she apologized and kept checking on us. (They had a rush, and customers were VERY willing to stand and wait for a table to become available).Food was delicious, fresh, hot, and homemade. Next time we go, I want to try one of their cinnamon rolls...they look amazing!Due to the minor delay in getting our meal, our server discounted our bill...which earned her a larger tip. She was great!“
