I've always walked past this place wondering what it was. I finally went with a friend while my clothes were drying at the laundromat. Definitely a little gem! The server, Kenia, was so sweet and attentive, and knew everything about the food. We even got to meet Babae herself, and talked with her for a while about the history of the business. I have never thought a restaurant was good enough for a review until now. Babae's Kitchen is amazing! The fried chicken was PERFECTLY seasoned and cooked, the mashed potatoes and gravy were seasoned wonderfully and the mac n cheese was very tasty. Any place can have good food but what sets amazing apart from decent is the service. Our waitress was superb! My husband and I stopped in for the first time. I really enjoyed the food, the food was really good. Mary T was our waiters. She was very sweet and her customer service was outstanding. The only thing we're disappointed about is there was no desserts served after our meal. However; we will return I just hope they have desserts next time.
