“We had a great experience last night with our server, Ryan. In the past, we've had this other server who tells really bad jokes and tries to upsell you at every turn. We were seated in his section, and if he had been assigned to us, we were going to ask to be moved. We heard him doing his schpiel with the other tables around us; the usual M.O: trying really hard to charm the customers with his purposely bad jokes (i.e.: "Where does the Dad store his jokes --- in the DAD-abase"). On a more serious note, he is always making reommendations which (not surprisingly) don't appear on the menu, so there's no idea how much they cost. If you order any sort of whitefish, he will always try to talk you into getting the Chilean Sea Bass, and along with the Rockefeller topping is "the greatest meal you'll have here". No mention of the price on that one, but trust me, I'm sure it is incredibly expensive. We heard him discussing a bill dispute at a neighboring table, where an item appeared on their bill that they did not order. They also questioned a charge for a salad that did not come with their order, that was an extra charge. I can imagine that he probably "suggested" the salad to go with it, without mentioning the fact that it was an extra charge. This was an elderly couple, and to me, this seemed like a situation of a manipulative server taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. In short, avoid the guy with the corny jokes, and if you do get him, expect that he will upsell you multiple times during your meal. Just say no. :-)“

“The food was fantastic. We loved it. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was pretty good. It was clean. But it was not fine dining. The tables are covered with crab paper. And customers have to wear a bib and gloves to eat their meals. So it's casual. Go there with that expectation. And you'll have a great time.

“Great atmosphere, food was excellent, service wasn't bad. I could tell that the order for our large party wasn't put in correctly bc the food came out very sporadically. (I was a server for 17 yrs)
