“The food was delicious and reminded us of our time in Boston. We ordered the steak bomb and grilled chicken sandwich. The servings are big and decently priced. They do offer a chicken finger basket for kids. The chicken finger basket is 100% chicken meat and not processed. This is a big win for us. The only thing they don’t have there is fountain drinks.“

“Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007.

I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen.

The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños.

I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.“

They have a few veg options and a ton of options for any sort of palate. The inside is funky and fun, good place to come with kids or a large group. I’ve never seen their dining room busy. We came in for happy hour and were happy with the $3 off draft beer and 1/2 off local draft beers. They have a large free parking lot which is hard to find in FLL.

The awesome staff at Perry's went over and above and served us some sumptuous wings, oxtail & jollof rice. Mandy the executive Chef & owner went the extra mile and was present and engaged with the customers until closing. I recommend Perry's Wings as a perfect brunch, lunch or dinner restaurant. We had dinner there Saturday night and we are definitely going back I highly highly highly recommend it it was so much fun and I could say it is the best Spanish food I have ever had!!!The Churrasco steak , the appetizers and even the chips and salsa are honestly the best!!! I came in for a quick meal but made the mistake of bringing my friend, Melissa. She’s “that customer”: comes armed with coupons, special requests, and annoying demands. Somehow, the manager handled everything like a pro! She made sure her drink had just enough ice, made sure her fries were extra crispy, and triple-checked that her Whopper was exactly how she wanted it.

It is a single bay storefront in a plaza, easy parking, but not going there for fine dining but quick good greek/ Mediterranean food. Note they are not open on Sunday.“
