“My brother's and I visited Rocco's for lunch and had an excellent experience.

The overall layout was very welcoming and the staff made us feel right at home.

Most places I get table side guacamole I feel as if the ingredients haven't had enough time to marinate, but here the seasonings made it perfect and it had a lot of good flavor.

We ordered the burrito bowl, tacos, and quesadilla all of which came out great. Especially the chorizo tacos. Those we a a favorite by far.

The bar tender was kind enough to put together a unique flight of tequila for us to try as well. We all enjoyed it and had a chance to try something new.

The manager stopped by one or two times to make sure everything was good and that we were happy and our waitress was very attentive and checked on our table often.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rocco's. The establishment was clean, well ran, with great service, good tequila, and awesome food!“

We went for the late night happy hour, they had great drink specials, the bartender was friendly and the food was so amazing. “Was looking forward to the Ceviche I had on our first night on vacation. I came back to have the Ceviche again a few days later since I loved it so much and the Ceviche was completely different. All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“

“We live really close to this little gem, always wanted to try it and FINALLY made it there for lunch today. What a huge loss that we waited so long! Their food is so good. I ordered the 2 carna asada taco lunch special which came with beans and rice. My husband ordered the carnita taco lunch special. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy, the beans were topped with melted cheese. We ordered a side of chips and salsa. The chips were warm, crunchy and seemed freshly made. Absolutely amazing lunch.... Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. I recently visited CT Cantina at Dania Pointe and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun—the vibe and music on Friday night were energetic (a bit loud, but part of the lively ambiance). Service was spot-on: fast, attentive, and our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.

What stood out:

The salsa game is strong—super flavorful and authentic. The only downside: the bright red overhead lights made it impossible to distinguish which salsa was which, since they all looked red.

Fresh chips and multiple dips were a treat—though I found them slightly oily, they still had great crunch and taste.

Tacos were solid but had some quirks: the flour tortillas were surprisingly thick, and they shrunk in size compared to past visits. The chicken felt a touch too salty and a bit dry. Still, flavors were enjoyable overall.

On the downside, there was no dessert station anymore—apparently your favorite dessert has been removed. That was a bummer, especially since you used to love it.

Summary:
CT Cantina & Taqueria delivers great ambiance, helpful staff, fast service, and excellent salsas and chips. While the tortilla texture and smaller portions with slightly salty chicken dragged the experience down a bit—and losing the dessert option was disappointing—it’s still worth a visit. Hoping they bring back that dessert station soon!

“We arrived at Taco Craft a little after 7 PM, and it was pretty calm—not too packed. We were attended to right away, which was a great start. Parking is convenient since it’s located in the Modera residence building, and there’s also free city parking nearby. I ordered the spicy pineapple drink, and my husband got the passion fruit—both were delicious! We went with the “3 sauces special” and the “3 tacos platter,” and everything was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress, Michelle, was amazing—very knowledgeable about the menu and Taco Craft overall.
There’s also a DJ on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays who plays really good music, which adds a great vibe to the atmosphere.
This was our first time here, and everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌮✨“
