“Try something different for lunch today in Downtown Fort Lauderdale area, try Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food by Nika King. This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice and the food is pretty great. The fried turkey (taso) dinner comes with black rice, salad, fried plantain, and salad. Parking in the plaza could be improved, but I’ve never had trouble finding a spot. I’m excited to try the rest of their menu.“

“I’ve always ordered here but today I wasn’t supposed to stop here ,but I insisted because I was hungry. As I walked in I was greeted by a older gentleman letting me know my food will be out shortly not sure I think he was the owner, I’m beyond thankful because I was praying this morning asking for for a sign I’ve been dealing with so much for the past month, and the older gentleman came out and said god is going to make it work for our good your good. What a word in such a time I felt like I was giving up and this was the sign for me to stop here to get my go to favorite breakfast meal from here. The breakfast is always delicious. I’m thankful I was able to stop here today ,and god gave him the word that was for me. I pray god bless his business with so many blessings. Everything was amazing the food, the atmosphere the greeting, he so respectful. God bless you“

“Good authentic Jamaican food at reasonable prices. Home of the $10 oxtail platter which is my go to when I visit. The lady there is so pleasant and always smiling. The environment is clean and welcoming. If you’re in the area you should try their food. You won’t be disappointed.“

“7/23/26 around 2pm LOWES parking lot douglasville GA highway 5… my niece said she saw adverse on FACEBOOK so she watched kids I waited PATIENTLY… me personally I’m ALL ABOUT THA FOOD TRUCK VIBES !!!! I was SUPER HUNGRY after I ate WORLD FAMOUS EGG ROLLS my tummy was SUPER HAPPY… not greasy at all my niece LOVED the food and strawberry lemonade she ate the food got the ITIS and fell asleep 🤣🤣🤣 GREAT FOOD GREAT ATMOSPHERE THANKS GUYS !!!“

“This is the worst place on the planet, where you have to beg for a glass of water and the bar attender gives you the worst attitude and refuse to give you water. A freaking water!!! She ignores everything you ask, she doesn’t even bother to look at you!!! How?? Why??? Never in my life I have experienced something like this! Please, if you are not happy working there then you need to quit!!! Management, you are loosing customers there! You guys are in customers service business!!! “Never ordered from here before and the first time I did I was blown away the mac & cheese taste like grandma made it. The greens were phenomenal and we all know it’s tough to get good greens and I ordered the pork chop, which was amazing as well. I can’t wait to try other things they have on the menu now that I know they can cook!! Also the prices were so fair!“

“We came into town fresh off the plane and decided to stop by The Licking, and the experience exceeded expectations. Meme provided phenomenal service and truly made us feel welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived. Her professionalism, energy, and hospitality stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable.
The food was hot, fresh to order, and absolutely delicious. The wait was not long at all, and everything was perfect from start to finish. This is easily my number one go-to spot anytime I’m in Florida. Highly recommended!“
