“Came passing through Hernando for the evening, just about everything around me within walking distance from the bus stop was closed by sunset. The Hideaway sports bar was open and I had seen good reviews about the wings so I decided to try em out. I am overly impressed. I've worked in restaurants/hospitality my entire life, from back of house to front, and there's really only one way to conduct businesses let alone objectivly good wings. Hernando Hideaway sportsbar delivers. They were prepared fresh, crispy, and absolutely perfect. The service was great, super friendly and really inviting atmosphere, as well as the people. You wont find better availability, prices, quality, or satisfaction anywhere else imo. Its rare to find businesses like this in small towns that'll actually cater towards the customer whos a stranger. You could say I'm a bit biased since everything else was closed, but reliability goes along way in this area. If everything else were to be open the next time I pass through, I'd remain loyal to this bar regardless. That's how good my experience was.“
“I visited Skippers Whiskey River saloon all the way from Virginia.This is my second time.One of the best experiences my entire trip.The managers Victoria and Scotty were very helpful and kind.My bartender Angel did an awesome job the entire time.The atmosphere was unmatched,music and DJ Pimpin were amazing.I highly recommend Wiskeys to anyone who enjoys feeling at home away from home.“

“This Bar/Restaurant was Very Nice, Our Bartender Jerri was very Pleasant,quick and Give great service, The Food was Excellent, I had The Grilled Chicken Salad, the Salad was Fresh, Chicken was cooked Right, the Bar was very clean, the Nightly Specials / Activities were displayed for each night. There’s lots of free parking and it was lite up nicely… this would be Kid Friendly if brought in before the Entertainment started… I would highly Recommend this Place to my Friends and Family… Handicap Accessible“

“Honestly my favorite place to get a burger ! I tried a different place just to try out restaurants with a friend and I wasn’t able to even finish the other place’s burger ! I will only come here if I am craving a burger ! Their onion rings and gator bites are also the best around here that I have tried And also their home style chips are great too !!“

“Came for lunch after a long hot day in the sun. We had boneless wings, kids chicken tenders, and the special of the day a pressed Cuban sandwich. Food was delicious! Price was fair! And the server, Carlee was sweet and attentive. She did a great job, especially with us having 5 kids at our table. and we will definitely be back!“

“First time coming there on Friday actually to watch my landlord band play HWY 94 and decided to grab a bite while I was there. Customer service was amazing and atmosphere was as equal. The food was amazing and fresh. I would and will come back again.“
