“I think that Smash House is an amazing place. My husband happened upon it when he was at Wynn Dixie doing his weekly meat shopping. The owner gave him an intro deal (that was not even the great part) but it was 100 dollars for 24 patties and all of the fixin's including gluten free rolls! My daughter and I are gfcf so that was incredible. The flavors blended. The carmalized onions the sweet pickles and the red onions were so good together but to top it off there was cheese and the bun toasted was the best ever. This place needs more customers! pack it in because you won't be sorry“

“Great place. I had the Cheesesteak project. The bread was fresh and toasted. The sandwich was big enough for two. Ton of meat and cheese. The meat is so tender. I also had the white truffle Mac and cheese. It was o full or flavor and was o creamy. My wife ordered the Bourbon Cowboy burger. It was cooked to perfection. It had two patties each so we could have shared.
The place is crazy decorated in kind of a car fabrication style. Go and check this place out.

“Lucky’s Fish is exactly what you want from a Florida beachfront spot with nothing but good vibes and even better food. The staff was great, with multiple people checking on our table, and sitting outside in the sun under a shaded area made lunch with the family feel special. My fish sandwich was top notch, and the coleslaw on the side was tasty without being too heavy on the mayo. My mom’s salad with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet, and my wife’s chicken sandwich was super juicy and full of flavor. It is hard to imagine Lucky’s having a bad dish because everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked like something I would order too.“

People say it is expensive, but the burgers are real ground beef, the fries are cut there, no additives, the potatoes are fresh, cut there. The beef patties are made there, not some factory and then frozen. If you want quality it's going to be a little bit expensive. I don't mind paying a little bit more for what you get, and a large fry is more. They always put an extra scoop of fries in the bottom of your bag, and that's way more than just a large fry. My only negatives were getting charged extra for onion rings instead of fries for the kids meal, and the trash cans inside and outside were all overflowing. I was also entertained watching drivers try to parallel park along the curb at a 75 percent failure rate, which has nothing to do with the restaurant.“

And I’m definitely not someone who throws around 5-star ratings unless they’re truly deserved.

That said, when a place earns it, I’m more than happy to say so.

For me, The Duck Tavern really starts with the bartenders. Leli and Ali have a way of turning a simple beer into a whole experience. You sit down planning to have one drink, and before you know it you’re enjoying the atmosphere, the conversation, and the vibe of the place.

The bar itself is fun, welcoming, and stocked with all kinds of beers and drinks you don’t always find at a typical neighborhood spot.

Personally, I love that they always have ice-cold Moosehead ready to go—credit to the owner for that.

I originally started coming to this little gem because of the Moosehead… but I’ll always keep coming back because of Leli and Ali.“
