“Went to Bavaro’s tonight for dinner and can’t say enough good things. The ambiance, the service was top notch, the chairs so comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Steven (I hope that was his name) was beyond professional and I couldn’t ask for better. Prices are fair and the wine list is inviting. We started with the fire grilled broccolini which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Had a lovely super Tuscan with my penne with vodka sauce and shrimp. You could literally taste every delicious layer of flavor in this sauce. My boyfriend had the wild grilled salmon and we split the roasted broccolini for an appetizer. Completed with two home made delicious cannoli’s to go. The salmon but it was cooked perfectly and a huge piece of salmon (like 8oz) Will definitely be back and absolutely encourage anyone looking for real authentic Italian to check it out.“

My in laws got the lasagne, my husband got the Ragu, and I got the risotto special that had prosciutto and burrata. This was easily the best meal we had while in Sarasota. Passed the flop test on the pizza crust with flying colors, very thin and super crispy.The cheese bread was super fresh and epically crispy, cheesy, buttery delicious. I suggest eating in the restaurant if you want to experience the "straight out of the oven" ultimate crispy crusts. They have great taste in the music that was playing as well. We had the ER and Farm Veggie pizzas, which were both very good. The Farm pizza was loaded so full of vegetables that it was hard to see the cheese. The meats on the pizza were crisp and salty - exactly what I like on my pizzas.Beyond food, I paired the pizzas with the "Charlie's Blood Orange Wheat" beer from Big Top Brewing Company, which is a beer unique to Origin. It was great.Parking: May be difficult to find parking here at busy times of the day. We had to drive around for a few minutes to find something in the lot.“

I do wish they would publish lunch specials online instead of just table tents when you dine in because I would probably order from them more for lunch. First of all, I have to admit when we entered, the hostess was “not the hostess with the mostest” and I decided to not name her by name. In fact, she honestly was a bit arrogant. Maybe they felt because I had a hat on shorts that I did not fit a certain profile and she was frankly just arrogantly rude. While I called it out to her directly and I think she did recognize her rudeness, outside of that the food was absolutely spectacular.We highly recommend the chicken, Parmesan, the meat, lovers, pizza, and the tortellini. All of them were absolutely amazing. Great flavors, not heavy, and the side salad is a perfect salad to share for three or more people if it’s a large. The pasta was hot and perfectly al dente along with the pizza.I would give it five stars had we just not been rudely approached by the hostess this would be 5 star. I will adjust my review in the future if we experience anything different but you just can’t be the representation of a great restaurant for one of the best experiences you will have in downtown Sarasota for the money and quality. Their food, overall is consistently amazing. My family has loved whatever we have ordered. We enjoy it so much that we have made every Saturday evening pizza night. Give them a try. They didn't know if the dressing was gluten free so I didn't have it but otherwise the salad was delicious. My grandparents loved their salads as well. Maybe cliche but true… I grew up with fantastic pizza and have been frantically searching for something that comes close since moving to FL in 2014.This pizza doesn’t just come close to what I grew up with, this is EXACTLY what I grew up with.We ordered a half cheese & a half margarita, and asked for it well done. The pizza came out perfect. The cheese side was beautifully bubbly and not greasy in the slightest. The margarita side had some perfectly melted moz with large slices of tomato and plenty of basil.The crust was golden underneath and crispy with a wonderfully bubbly edge. The sauce was flavorful- both sweet and acidic. It was exactly what you want out of a good sauce.We also ordered a penne a la vodka and it also exceeded expectations. The vodka sauce was well balanced and the pasta perfectly al dente. The chicken cutlet was breaded evenly and fried to the perfect golden brown.I failed to take pictures, but will certainly be returning.
