“We had a great experience last night with our server, Ryan. In the past, we've had this other server who tells really bad jokes and tries to upsell you at every turn. We were seated in his section, and if he had been assigned to us, we were going to ask to be moved. We heard him doing his schpiel with the other tables around us; the usual M.O: trying really hard to charm the customers with his purposely bad jokes (i.e.: "Where does the Dad store his jokes --- in the DAD-abase"). On a more serious note, he is always making reommendations which (not surprisingly) don't appear on the menu, so there's no idea how much they cost. If you order any sort of whitefish, he will always try to talk you into getting the Chilean Sea Bass, and along with the Rockefeller topping is "the greatest meal you'll have here". No mention of the price on that one, but trust me, I'm sure it is incredibly expensive. We heard him discussing a bill dispute at a neighboring table, where an item appeared on their bill that they did not order. They also questioned a charge for a salad that did not come with their order, that was an extra charge. I can imagine that he probably "suggested" the salad to go with it, without mentioning the fact that it was an extra charge. This was an elderly couple, and to me, this seemed like a situation of a manipulative server taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. In short, avoid the guy with the corny jokes, and if you do get him, expect that he will upsell you multiple times during your meal. Just say no. :-)“

“I didn’t know what all the hype was about until I had their medium spicy garlic butter crab legs. I’ve seen Florida ladies going crazy over this dish and I thought calm down it’s just crab legs. Well this is a whole new level of crab legs seafood boil. I was served this for Mother’s Day. It’s my new favorite spot“

“Really any food their cook makes is good ... I order food there almost on a daily basis, but sometimes i feel like eating something different that isn't in their menu... guess what these guys always find a way to make me happy and go beyond to do so, even making those things that they normally don't sale and isn't even in their menu... and guess what compared to places that do have the exact same item in their Menu Billy's is way better! i think that says it all ... their establishment might be humble but the quality of their food is that of the best anywhere in Town.. “The food was fantastic. We loved it. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was pretty good. It was clean. But it was not fine dining. The tables are covered with crab paper. And customers have to wear a bib and gloves to eat their meals. So it's casual. Go there with that expectation. And you'll have a great time.
