“Amazing is the only one word that comes to our minds. The restaurant itself is very modern looking but has that touch of Thai to make us feel at home. And the star of the show besides the great cooks was Pen! She was so awesome and sensor from her greeting at the door to her interactions with my two daughters. Who just thought she was so nice and Awesome. The appearance of the food was amazing when it arrived at our table and the taste was even more amazing. “We were greeted and sat immediately upon arrival. We ordered appetizer combo b, seafood pad thai, fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and the beef thai noodle soup. The servings are quite big. The food was served quickly but was fresh. The shrimp and the scallops in the pad thai were phenomenal! The staff was very friendly and restaurant was clean. I highly recommend.“

“This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area! I have been coming here for almost 20 years and they have been consistently delicious each and every time! I’m a pad Thai enthusiast so I stick to that and it’s so good! All of the proteins are good! The spring rolls were tasty and fresh!! The atmosphere is typical for a home in the wall Thai restaurant and is cozy and traditional. The service is consistently great, friendly and fast so perfect for a business or casual meal! “I am gluten free and vegetarian and the staff was so helpful. If I had a question they promptly answered it and also gave me a dedicated gluten-free menu. I did not ask if there was a cross-contamination risk as I usually don't react to those. But I got the Panang curry with tofu medium spice and a Thai iced tea and both were great. I have plenty for leftovers too!“

“Went to Golden Thai Saturday night on a recommendation from a friend. Small and quaint restaurant. Acknowledged immediately when we walked in. Service was great. Waiter explained everything is made from scratch. I ordered the Combo plate, shrimp and chicken with sweet and sour sauce, with a side of noodles. Got 3 meals total out of that. Taste was fantastic! Wife and mom were extremely happy with their meals! This is going to become a regular dinner stop for us.“

“I ordered through the app and requested Thai hot spice for my beef panang curry, and they absolutely nailed it. The flavor was rich, authentic, and perfectly spicy exactly how I like it. The spices were bold and on point.

The pork satay was also delicious tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled with a wonderful aroma of spices.

I’ll admit, I was crying while eating because it was that spicy but as a Thai person, losing face like this actually made me very happy 😄 That’s how I know the food is truly authentic.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves real Thai food.“

The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the flavors were well-balanced without being overwhelming. “I have finally found a local restaurant that serves Hainanese chicken rice the way I remember as a child visiting my late grandparents in Lampang, Northern Thailand. Thank you Chef A.J. & Staff for serving me & my Thai family delicious Thai comfort food yesterday evening the way we enjoyed when visiting Thailand. We hope someday you will expand your tiny restaurant somewhere in Orlando to bring more of your delicious cuisine to the masses. “Legitemately the best Chinese takeout of all time. My husband grew up with this place, when we met he introduced me and I knew I could never eat at any other Chinese takeout again! The quality at Wah Yoan is unmatched! We don't even live in the are anymore and I still send my husband 30 mins away to pick it up or willingly pay a long distance delivery fee specifically to get it from here. A problem I've had with other Chinese takeout places (besides quality in general) is the fried items always taste nasty like bad oil and chicken pieces are typically... odd. I'm very particular about chicken. At Wah Yoan though? I will eat an entire container of chicken without thinking twice! Their fried items are the absolute best as well. I love their egg rolls. It's hard to recommend one thing because actually everything is good, but I would say the honey chicken is a stand out! I will continuing spreading the Wah Yoan gospel, please never close shop!!“
