“So nice to have a great spot on the beach to get food and drink. The service is at the window, and they are nice and the food was all great. The coffee, however, was very watered down - very poor. The smoothie was also not what I expected as it was more of an icee vs a fruit smoothie with actual fruit (strawberries).

“Took my 3 sons to La Mesa Taqueria on Marco. First time I had been there since they opened. One son from Texas is an expert on TexMex and he as well as everyone loved the food and friendly service. Chicken Tortilla Soup and table side Guacamole were hits; Tacos, refried black beans shrimp quesadillas were delicious. The Jalapeño poppers were wonderful except to do it over would ask them to hold the BBQ sauce.“

“This has been here a long time and it used to be a bit of a dive bar, but now it’s gone much more upscale with the redecoration. I kinda liked the old vibe - but this will be seen as progress for most people! The beer is still great and served up by nice bartenders like DeeDee. Great happy hour. I heard the food is good from my friends who are locals, but we did not eat. It was great but just not anything special - so 4 stars.

“How fortunate we were to stumble across this goldmine. Friend at the Lely Resort had given us the recommendation and they were spot on! wonderful flavors, great value and the owners were so gracious. I will be back. HELP the owners to get permanent county approval to stay there- you wont be sorry.
