“An awesome spot for breakfast after a morning walk on the beach. Cheery counter staff. Meticulously clean dining area for a beach cafe. Chairs and tables are ample with plenty of shade from the morning sun. Breakfast is fun to have here, but stay away from the scrambled eggs (not sure they are eggs). Others had fried eggs in our group and they were reported to be great. Pancakes are the go to meal here.“

“Four of us had dinner tonight. This was our first chance to try La Mesa as we're only occasional visitors to Marco.

Highs: our server was so kind, helpful, and friendly. She really made the meal a fun experience. The chips are homemade. And I asked for their "hot" salsa. Excellent. Others said the enchiladas were very good. And the margs were $6.50 tonight (Tues) - they were fine - not amazing. I tried 3 tacos: carne asade, barbacoa and birria. All very good.

Lows: none at all.

We ate at a table but the bar area is cool and the whole restaurant features an outdoor vibe due to the huge doors that open.

Did I mention the abuelita in the back making fresh tortillas?

“We dinned at Nacho Mama’s and enjoyed both dishes! I had the Nacho rice bowl with shredded chicken and it was delicious! Dish was big and can be easily shared (could not finish). The other dish was the 3 tacos ?, rice , Beans, and yummy! Run don't walk to this amazing Mexican restaurant with great food , prices and service! Going back to get dessert and will advise then, see you there!“
