“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“This is a must try on the Cape! The menu is interesting. The food is excellent. They have a bit of a unique setup with the main restaurant on one side of a central wall and cocktail lounge on the other side. They have very different atmospheres but both are cool depending on what you are looking for. Note: they have separate outside entrances but you can move between the two without going outside. Also the full menu is available on both sides. If you read my reviews you know I care about the details that makes a place good or meh. In This is what makes 10 Twenty Five above average 1) the food: interesting takes on standard that make this place stand out. The quality is high and consistent. Including taco Tuesday where they present a special taco of the week along with the normal “gringo” tacos. They also offer a soup of the day. Unlike most restaurants it’s actually a home made soup that reflects the unique imagination that is seen in the rest of the menu. The same can be said about the Saturday-Sunday brunch offerings. 2) Drinks: Smart cocktails and an excellent tap beer selections have something for everyone. 3) Staff: Almost all are over the top friendly and they work on a team system so there’s no one person you are dependent on to serve you. They all work together at the bar and tables to make sure you have what you want when you want it, including the check. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bunch of great pics of the food to post but many others have done that before me. Enjoy this cool spot.

“I love trying different ethic foods. The food at Sumaq was absolutely delicious. The service was phenomenal. When I saw the table cloths, I thought it would be expensive, but the prices are reasonable. We started with avocado stuffed with shrimp, I had filet mignon beef tips which was cooked exactly as I asked. Not over cooked. My husband had the Jalea Mixta, nice light batter, not too heavy. We were given a sample of a cake served in Peru which was out of this world. And we are not big on cake. Would not hesitate to go back again. Highly recommend.“

“Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure. “Great food but most importantly, great people make this restaurznt the best of it's kind anywhere in SW Florida. Shrimp portions are generous and if you like real southern cooking. Their authentic gumbo and creole jambalaya will warm your heart. If you happen to want an even warmer heart, you can up the heat with the ghost pepper version.
