We recently stayed at Kimpton Angler’s Miami Beach Hotel for four nights as a family. While the hotel itself has a nice design and good location, our experience was seriously marred by unexpected charges after we checked out.
I was shocked to find that my bank account had been debited for a Red Bull and a “missing” yoga mat around 50 USD — neither of which we ever used or even saw during our stay. We don’t drink Red Bull, and I certainly never touched a yoga mat....read full review

Located in Miami Beach, Angler’s Hotel offers a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and close to the Port of Miami. Guests consistently praise the super friendly and welcoming staff, with special mentions of the manager Charles, who is very helpful, and team members like Lohema and Adriana, who provided genuine thoughtful service. The hotel offers a free lounger with towel service on the beach, and the attached restaurant, El Patio, is really delicious and amazing. The rooms are nice and spacious, with some being quite large and well appointed, featuring good sized beds and large bathrooms with walk-in showers. While some public areas could use a refresh, the hotel is quiet and the bed is comfortable enough for a good sleep. The bar is nice, and the breakfast restaurant offers varied menu options with good food and service. There is a swimming pool on a roof top terrace. Some guests noted slow check-in and check-out, and a query on the bill, but issues were sorted by the manager. Overall, Angler’s Hotel is worth a look for those sailing from the Port of Miami or seeking a convenient Miami Beach stay.
