“The establishment was truly remarkable! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the owners' daughters. Subsequently, the owner herself came out and thoroughly explained the entire menu to us. Each member of our party selected a different dish, and everything was absolutely delicious! Every order arrived at the table steaming hot. My personal favorite was the fried snapper, which was fresh and seasoned to perfection! The peas and rice, cabbage, collard greens, and mac and cheese were also exceptionally tasty. To conclude our experience, we even took home some cake and banana pudding! We will certainly make another visit the next time we are in Miami!“

“First of all great customer service, their conch is very flavorful and needs no sauce in my opinion (their sweet n sour is good tho). The Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the rice. Also I highly recommend the shrimp and crab salad it’s amazing.“
“The lady in there was VERY VERY UNDERSTANDING! I told her how my wife was allergic to chicken and do you know she pulled out fresh grease to fry her ribs in!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO SEE HER! “Average breakfast . I had grits, fried eggs and sausage with biscuits. The tea was good and southern sweeet. The young waiter, Blow, was extremely nice and calm. He wasn’t your typical waiter, but his style worked for a small soul food restaurant. The other male waiter/bus boy moved at super human speed. The place was very clean and definitely is a favorite of the locals. It was my first time visiting. I will definitely try it if I am ever back there.“

“The fried turkey wings with lemon pepper seasoning was amazing. The yams were delicious, but the greens were just okay. The waitress made really great recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food, although they ordered straight off the menu, chicken, steak, and shrimp. I asked the waitress for advice. They all ordered the mystery mix drink while I ordered the waitress choice and mine tasted better. Overall, it was a great dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

“Every time that I go, it’s what I expect. That is some good food for a good price. No one ever said this was the place of spectacular southern hospitality, just that they provide food. I mind my business, get what I need, fill my belly, and have a good day. I have never been met with a nasty attitude because I don’t go there looking for people to be overly cheerful and friendly. I respect them, they respect me, I get my food, and I’m out. Imma keep going there for breakfast because I like it and because they’re black.“

“The food was really good. I just think it wasn't enough people covering the tables. The problem is had was I ordered a side of broccoli with my Alfredo. They brought my broccoli out 8 min before bringing out my main dish. Which left the broccoli sort of cold. Why not bring out all the food AT ONCE?????? That made no sense. Then we ordered as a group. The food came out all all different times. That's a no no at a restaurant you don't bring one food out 15 min earlier than the next. Learn to prep where the food all arrives at the same time. The waiter did the best she could but could've used some help. The food was really good though I can't deny that. Just a few things to work on it would have gotten a 10/10.“
