“What an experience we had at Butchers Cuisine in Miami Lakes! I was honestly surprised to find the restaurant fairly empty on a Saturday night—more people need to know about how incredible this place is (hence this review). From the start, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Alexa, who also served us throughout the evening. She introduced herself right away and brought us menus that were unlike anything I’ve ever seen—unique and fun (I’ll leave out the details as a surprise for new guests).

We began with an appetizer, and let me just say: it was the best croqueta I’ve ever tasted—and that’s saying a lot as a local with Latin roots. Shortly after, fresh bread arrived at the table, piping hot and clearly baked in-house. As a baker myself, I can say with confidence those were made from scratch, and they were outstanding.For entrées, we ordered the churrasco and the octopus. The churrasco was cooked perfectly to our requested medium-rare—melt-in-your-mouth tender and trimmed to perfection. The octopus, which can often be hit or miss, was flawless: tender, not chewy, and with excellent texture. When I asked Alexa if she recommended it, her smile said it all, and she was right.

We enjoyed the meal so much that we wanted to thank the owner directly. Instead, we had the chance to speak with the chef, who we congratulated on delivering such a phenomenal experience. Alexa remained attentive throughout, checking in on us regularly without ever being overbearing.

We will absolutely be returning. I regret not capturing photos of the food, ambiance, and overall experience, but I’ll be sure to do so next time and update this review. Butchers Cuisine, if you keep this up and apply for Michelin recognition, you may very well earn your first star!“

“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu here, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Palma is a truly special place. Along with Ariette, it stands out as one of the two best restaurants in Miami.

The food is outstanding. Creative, deeply flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu changes monthly, which makes every visit feel fresh and worth repeating. There’s not much else to say other than bravo.

A very special mention goes to the sommelier. I didn’t catch his name, but his talent is undeniable. If the food was among the best we’ve had, the wine pairing was easily the best we’ve ever experienced. I typically avoid funky, skin-contact, or natural wines, but this pairing completely changed my perspective. Each wine was not only delicious but genuinely interesting and full of character, and every pairing felt thoughtful and precise. These are wines I would happily add to a home cellar. Truly incredible.

The value is also remarkable. We paid around $200 per person including the wine pairing, which feels like a steal. If this restaurant were in Brickell or Miami Beach, the price would likely be double or triple. Even then, it would still be worth it.

“If you’re commuting through MIA, this no frills place has delicious food! We had a grilled chicken plate - includes rice & peas and plantains (or you can pick salad). Flavour was great, and generous portion!

If you don’t mind leaving your terminal/ going through security again, this place is definitely worth a stop.“

Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the team accommodated us after about a 30-minute wait, which we really appreciated given how busy they were. “This company is located at the Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood FL on Sheridan St. booth #640….don't get Ceviche from any other Ceviche places there. I ordered the Classic Ceviche, and was not disappointed! It was fresh, and delicious! The owner and his wife were very friendly and provided very good customer service. “Conch salad is very delicious there's conch through out your whole experience of the conch salad especially the top and if you get a bowl and pour it out the cup there's even more conch at the bottom.
