“It was our first time dining at this restaurant, and I have to say we were extremely pleased. My wife and I started with an appetizer (the tostones) and it proved to be a great choice! The waitress (also the owner) was super friendly, great attitude, and explained the menu for us first timers. The food and experience was taste buds satisfying delicious! “In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. “Best ribs. There's so many places that just give you dry flavorless ribs slathered in basic bbq sauce but here is so worth it. The potato salad here is what made me realize it isn't that I hate potato salad but that people make bad potato salad, would recommend. I do wish it was easier to know what times ribs are ready because I have come here for them and they're like an hour away from being ready. The chicken here on the other hand is very dry which doesn't bother me too much cause I want ribs anyhow.“
