“We missed our connection due to baggage system issues so we decided to make the change in plans a great chance to get to know Miami. We were so tired and stressed but we found Empire Pizza and Wings and everything was so much better! This pizza has such a flavorful dough, very authentic and the toppings are so fresh. We had pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms. The sauce is delicious. This is a must! The owner is so personable and on the spot with excellent service along with his very nice staff. A couple of very cold beers in frosted mugs and a glass of wine and you’ve got a perfect night! Thank you!“

“We stopped in for lunch to take advantage of the lunch special, and it was a great value! For around $14, you get a pizza, garlic knots, and a drink. I couldn’t resist trying another pizza for about $7, so I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza.

The crust had the perfect crunch, the pizza sauce was rich and flavorful, and the BBQ chicken pizza was especially delicious with just the right balance of sweet and savory. “The hamburguesa de carne was fantastic 🤩 the beef angus patty was seasoned so deliciously, it was so juicy and flavorful that I had to ask the owner what the ingredients are! (They are a secret, and I don’t blame him for keeping it a secret). The service was great, our order was taken right away and came out quickly and when we were finished they cleared the table right away. Everyone was very friendly It and the burger was amazing.“

“Every time I touch down in Miami, I gotta hit Snappers Fish and Chicken. This run I grabbed the catfish with that extra lemon seasoning, fresh fries, and some fried okra. Man, the catfish was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and that lemon had it bussin’. The fries came out hot, the okra was crunchy — no cap, I ain’t even use no ketchup or nothing, the flavor held it down by itself. Snappers never miss, it’s always a Miami must.“

The owners, Issa and Fouad, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not once have I visited without one of them stopping by to say hello and have a quick chat. That personal touch makes you feel like more than just a customer.

And now for the best part: Maria, the bartender. She makes the best cocktails I've had anywhere in the Kendall area. I've tried Old Fashioneds, Mango Margaritas, and Mojitos at plenty of places, and Maria's versions are by far the best. She's friendly, outgoing, and always makes the experience even more enjoyable.
