Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. What truly made our experience memorable was the generosity of the manager, Shannon. After noticing how much we were enjoying our meal, he personally came to our table to check in. His genuine care for his guests and passion for the restaurant really shone through, making us feel valued and appreciated. “My wife and I ate there last night. Kind of expected it to just be a bar with “bar food”, was so wrong! We had a dozen fresh oysters, I actually had a few of them and I usually hate seafood! Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. The portion that came out was HUGE and she said really yummy, too! Tons of beers on tap and some funny t-shirts for sale too. Great place, may go again tonight!“

“My family ate here Friday night and it was wonderful. We had outstanding service from all the staff, but especially our server Mackenzie. Hands down the best Sushi we have ever eaten and yummy filets cooked to perfection. Our little girl loved her kids quesadillas too. “We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.“

It is consistent, reliable and always there. We’ve been attending the MS Bar convention for approximately 20 years, and have eaten at Barefoots for almost as long.

Whether it’s lunch, snacks or dinner, Barefoots has something that you can order.

While the menu is not big it has the seafood standbys, the chicken tenders, burgers, dogs, and fries- so the whole family can eat.

The drinks are good and plentiful. The fried baskets are good. The tuna dip is surpassingly good.

Peal and eat shrimp are above average. The burgers and hotdogs hit just right when you need a break from seafood.

Is it expensive? Yes, but it’s right there. You walk. You wear a bathing suit. They bring you your food to the table, the cabana or the beach!

I cant believe how sophisticated it is, how wonderful the menu was (high prices, but you ACTUALLY get money's worth) and you are treated like the highest class of guest by the staff. The Chateaubriand for 2 was served and sliced up at the table. It was so soft it was indescribable. The texture, the taste, the visual presentation. I would've paid that for half of what I got from that meal honestly. It came with A special type of potatoes, Zucchini, and squash. Its the whole loin served up too. Plenty of food, if not too much, for 2 people. We complemented our meal with the Espresso martini. Which was also beyond its worth in value in taste alone. There is a dress code, and id advise looking it up prior to arriving. Not horribly fancy, just business casual. No open toe shoes. Etc.“
