“Sushimoto is incredible! My husband and I have been coming to Sushimoto for 10 years now, We lived in Santa Rosa Beach for (7) and we ate at sushi moto 3 times a week. We are huge “sushi lovers “ and have lived in (6) different states and there was not a sushi place in each state that came close to how Sushimoto. The owners (Andy & Sophia) and they are the most caring people and you can see that once you go there for sushi. Believe it or not we now come to visit for 5 days (4) times a year. Everytime we come back for vacation we will be eating at sushimoto every day we are there there every day -entire time we are here for vacation. Not only because their sushi is amazing but the entire restaurants is always so positive and once there you feel the vibe and that they put love into every single order.
The funniest thing is I have see people come in to the seating podium as rude and mean as they can be. So, Andy and Sophia have a sign at the podium that says if you are not nice-leave. That is just so awesome because the people that come in for lunch or dinner feel the vibe and the positivity so they don’t want rude mean people sitting next to them when they are experiencing this awesome restaurant and they don’t want any one eating here to change the positive energy.
So all the negative reviews those mean people write about sushimoto and he said they were not the right restaurant for you. The owners are very nice when explaining how they are acting it not this restaurant. Maybe try another restaurant that allow people in their restaurant. So I say go find another restaurant if they will seat mean people!
The waitress that waits on us all the time, ayumi, is amazing too. Same positive energy and an excellent waitress. Believe me, you will be so welcomed to eat at sushimoto every if you are not a mean nasty people full of rage going off -are not going to ruin the experience for the rest of the nice people that come here all the time to of course eat incredible sushi but to see what I mean about the positive energy and how much they care and love what they are doing, and keep that positive energy going! Thanks Andy, Sophia, and Ayumii! We will be back late September and look forward to seeing y’all!“

“My family ate here Friday night and it was wonderful. We had outstanding service from all the staff, but especially our server Mackenzie. Hands down the best Sushi we have ever eaten and yummy filets cooked to perfection. Our little girl loved her kids quesadillas too. Great experience, lovely view, top notch service and incredible food. We will be back the next time we’re in Miramar Beach! Do yourself a favor and give them a try.“

“Had a nice family dinner at Hadashi/Sandcastles on a Saturday evening. No wait, plenty of open seating. J Brant was a friendly server and great with our kids. Tried 3 rolls, the shaggy, Philadelphia, and cowboy. Favorites were the shaggy and cowboy. The menu is combined with sandcastles so we were able to order a pizza for our kids.“

“WOW. I am blown away. I used to be a regular before the remodel and when the old management owned the store, simply because I love sushi, and let me tell you…it was never a pleasant experience…between the workers, attitudes, waits, etc. Today was my first time back after the remodel and to my surprise, with new management. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Haley, my waitress, had the bubbliest personality and was SO happy to be there. The sushi chefs were phenomenal, friendly, and good at what they do. Tracey, the new manager of the location, took the time to speak with me and was extremely personable and kind. A complete 180 of the service I used to get. I will definitely be back, and 1000000% recommend. If you have ever had a bad experience in the past, for sure go back with the new management. You are in for a treat. “Louisiana Redfish was PHENOMENAL. Shrimp and Grits was EXCELLENT. On the apps: recommend the Pork Belly, Fried Green Tomatoes and the Crab Cakes - ALL AMAZING. Service was great too. Prices are a bit high, but typical for waterfront view, but they had a good bar happy hour and a BOGO half off entrée special for early diners, which was unexpected and appreciated!“

“Our daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Osaka Japanese Hibachi in Destin, FL. The atmosphere and ambiance was beautiful and serene! We were greeted as we stepped through the door and seated in one of the smaller dining areas as we requested. Our server was very skilled and exceptionally kind. Our meals were probably some of the most delicious ever! The presentation of these meals were so beautiful, it made the entire experience so relaxing and enjoyable!
We had enjoyed the hibachi with family for our daughter’s birthday 2 years before. It was very entertaining and oh so delicious as well. We have happily recommended Osaka and will continue to do so!“

“We picked this place because we were in the mood for Thai and it appeared to be the most authentic and least pretentious place in the area. The food was EXCELLENT and the service was great. Can’t recommend it enough if you are in the area. We had fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, pad Thai, pad see eww, pad kee mow (spelling for all???) and everything was absolutely delicious. Eat here if you want Thai.“

“We eat there several times a month. We like the food, you have many buffet choices, ample amt's. for the price. You can't buy a burger, fries, & coke for the same lunch price!! Restrooms are clean if we get there at or around noon, other wise blame the customers for a mess if there is one. Wish there was one in Ft. Walton Bch. Fl, but his is close enough if you want a good, affordable, Chinese meal.“
