Lujack’s Steaks, Chops, Seafood… is known for its great food and polished service. Many diners say it is the best experience in SW Florida, a better version of J Alexander’s. The steak is perfectly cooked, and the 12oz NY strip 15/10 leaves no bite on the plate. Oysters, fries and creamed corn all score 10/10, and the 12 layer chocolote cake is a highlight. The menu also features Vodka pasta with great flavor, a Chicago beef sandwich with chunks of prime rib, Parker rolls that are outstanding, and a burger so huge that it cannot be finished. Rigatoni is called the best pasta and sauce ever.
The restaurant is family owned and operated, and the owner greets guests at the table, making them feel at home. Service is attentive: a waiter or server keeps everyone supplied and happy. The atmosphere is sparkling clean and organized, and the décor is beautiful. Happy hour drinks are on the small side, and a martini is not great, so some suggest buying a regular drink instead. Overall, diners leave stuffed, happy, and ready to return.
