During a day trip to the Canaveral National Seashore, I researched local restaurants and discovered a gastronomical jewel. Jeanette (often seen buzzing in and out of the kitchen) and Jaime have created a fantastic menu that suits the medium sized restaurant and kitchen located on the corner of a midsized mall... From the fresh baguette bread accompanied by Himalayan salted butter, to the colorful crisp garden salad with a gentle vinagrette, to the tender filet prepared to a perfect medium temperature joined by a delicious trinxat and tender mushrooms, and the silky smooth crème brûlée with a perfectly flamed caramelized sugar 'glass' on top; you'll be offering your own Chef's Kiss. Considering the quality of the aforementioned food and excellent service (white linens, real candle light dining, superb wait-staff ), the prices are very reasonable! The menu has a good variety of seafood and non-seafood choices, and I even peeped a vegetarian dish. Do your taste buds a favor and make a trip out to NSB to dine at The Baker's Table - you'll be glad you did.“

“Yesterday, we had the best lunch at Cafe Verde. Having recently switched to a vegetarian diet, we were looking for a place that offered delicious food within our dietary restrictions. Let me just say, we are ashamed we hadn’t come here sooner. We dined outside under a shaded gazebo and even enjoyed a brief rainstorm. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered our drinks and food, and were astonished at how large the portions were. I opted for the Mediterranean Salad, and my husband ordered the Tofu 'Poke' Salad with a side of rice to make it a bowl. Let me tell you, we were both thrilled with the presentation, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! There were lots of beautiful plants surrounding the property which I absolutely loved! We will definitely return for another meal. We highly recommend this place for a date, or a casual lunch or dinner.“

Tuesday nights we love go head over for happy hour (ends at 6pm) and gear up for some trivia(starts at 6pm). We were hoping to find a trivia place in NSB and this place is our favorite, it goes great with the delicious Italian food and BOGO drinks if you get there early! Service is friendly and familiar (we bring our young kids). This is a chill, locals spot. Great to eat at after a round of golf too!“

“Although it's a little drive, it's worth it! The atmosphere is lively and fun. All of the waitstaff seemed to be having a lot of fun with the customers, which made it very enjoyable. We sat at the bar, and our bartender/server, Annie, could not have been sweeter. She was very busy but had time to talk & joke with all of the customers. To top it off, the food is excellent! We had Oysters on the half shell which were very fresh and tasty. My only critique about them was that they weren't quite shucked all the way through. Our entree was Blackened Mahi with a 1/2 pound of Steamed Snow Crab Legs and a side of Hush Puppies. Everything was delicious and fresh. JB's will be our first stop next time we're in town.“

“I was introduced to this place when I first moved here somewhere around two thousand... It was an instant hit arguably, the best Chinese food I've ever eaten anywhere. It's pretty nondescript and not much to look at. However, the food is fantastic in the pricing. Is reasonable. My singular complaint is they used to have a house ducks sauce, that they made there. You had to ask for it to get some. They no longer make it, and that hurts. Still, I seldom go anywhere else. And everyone that I turned on to it is thankful that I have. Also, it's a family-run establishment and I've watched their kids grow up over these last 20-some-odd years. In fact, the two young ladies who waited on me this last time might even be the proprietor's grandchildren at this point. If you enjoy Chinese food and you are here even just for the day I challenge you to eat at China and tell me you've had better elsewhere!“

“We often eat breakfast at Jason‘s and totally enjoy the experience. Sometimes there’s a short wait on the weekend, but it goes quickly. Nice casual spot to eat with good food. The service is always attentive and very friendly. Many good breakfast options to choose from. The lunch menu looks good, but I haven’t had the opportunity to eat there yet for lunch. We are more of breakfast people. if you are visiting New Smyrna Beach I would suggest that you go to Jason‘s corner to eat as it is reasonably priced and many locals go here. It also gets you off of beachside to the real downtown of New Smyrna Beach. Come to the farm market Saturday morning right on the street and enjoy breakfast.“
