“I came here because I was craving a bagel with cream cheese and I hadn't eaten breakfast yet at almost noon. I entered the drive-through with no one ahead of me and the voice was very pleasant. The cashier was also very nice. I think it was the same woman. My app wasn't allowing me to reload so she figured out how I could pay with the app and cash.. My bagel was perfectly lightly toasted just the way I like it with just the right amount of cream cheese… Coming through the hole and everything! It was gone within minutes lol. And overall very pleasant, friendly and tasty experience! We'll make sure to return to this location in the future.“

“My husband works in Gulf Gate, just a few storefronts down from Clever Cup, and we have been getting coffee from here since they have opened. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience and the coffee and baked goods are always delicious! The baristas are amazing and although we probably shouldn't have favorites, I simply adore Veronika and Karissa. The two of them are always ready with a smile, a cheerful, 'Good Morning!' and even if I've had an icky start to my day, the two of them are always able to brighten my mood and I wind up walking out with delicious coffee and a smile. “When we first visited Venice looking for what would eventually become our home, Black Gold Coffee Roasters was one of the first places we found. We had no idea then how much it would become part of our life.

Now it's one of my favorite places to be. It's where my husband and I sneak away for coffee dates, dream about what's next, plan our businesses, and simply enjoy being together. It has become part of the rhythm of our week. It has even become a family favorite with our kids never wanting to miss out on a stop.

It's been so fun to watch Black Gold grow, and now we have the pleasure of enjoying both locations with the opening of the Island location at the beautiful Lord Higel House. Each location has its own charm, but both carry the same welcoming atmosphere and sense of community.

Gary, Alyssa, and the entire team have created something really special. The coffee is wonderful, but it's the people and the atmosphere that keep us coming back. Every visit feels warm, inviting, and like you're among friends.

“Captain Curt's Crab & Oyster Bar: Review Overview: During a visit to Siesta Beach, we made sure to stop at Captain Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar. The establishment is notably spacious, featuring two large outdoor Tiki areas where guests can relax with a drink or enjoy a meal. One of the Tiki areas includes a stage for live music, enhancing the lively atmosphere. Surrounding the main restaurant is Captain Curt’s Village, which offers a gift shop and several other stores within easy walking distance. The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and provides a laid-back vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed. Parking: Parking can be a challenge, as spaces are limited. We were able to find free parking right beside the restaurant, but there are also lots nearby available for a small fee. Service and Drinks: Our waitress, Renee, provided excellent and friendly service. We ordered Pina Coladas, served in large Captain Curt’s keepsake cups. The drinks were enjoyable, but the alcohol tended to settle at the bottom, so it’s important to stir before drinking to avoid a strong first sip. Food Experience: We sampled the clam chowder, which is advertised as the “World’s Best Clam Chowder.” While it may not be the best in the world, we found it very tasty with plenty of clams. My Captain’s Platter consisted of boiled Tripletail Fish, Bay Scallops, Gulf Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes, and mixed Vegetables, all of which were good. The Clam Basket, served with fries and Cole Slaw, was also very good. Additionally, the fish and chips were enjoyable. All food was served hot and in generous portions, leaving us both full when we finished. Overall Impression: We appreciated the quality of the food, the drinks, and the relaxed atmosphere. “Today I ordered a tuna on everything bagel with lettuce and tomato, my wife ordered a chicken salad on everything bagel. So my tuna had no lettuce or tomato and there was about a teaspoon of tuna and on two bagel bottoms with no top. My wife’s plain chicken salad came with a normal amount of chicken salad but with lettuce and tomato and on all tops.“

“Great atmosphere, customer service and fresh coffee and delicious eats. The Baristas are dressed appropriately with green aprons that complement their look. I visited one in Venice where the Baristas wore low cut revealing clothing. It was like you were in a night club at 8 AM not a coffee house. I prefer the Coffee House style and atmosphere ?“

“One of my favorite Starbucks in the SRQ area. Pretty fast service, really sweet and helpful staff, and good quality food and drinks.

The inside is a tad small without a ton of seating so I’d generally recommend using the drive-thru for this one, but it works either way.“

“I primarily use the drive through because of mobility issues but the Baristas here are always friendly and serve you as quick as possible. During the pandemic and Hurricane Ian, with limited store hours, weaker morals and limited personnel, they still managed to deliver and maintain good attitudes with the customers, quick and professional service and great tasting products on the daily. However their espresso is so so.
And their coffee prices are a little steep compared to real coffee houses considering their espresso isn't comparable.
However it's nice to know there is usually a Dunkin not far from ya.“

“This is our go-to Dunkin' and we have had great service and experiences each time that we go. Typically it's our first stop before we get on 75 for any weekend adventures that we are having!
