Love the food only one thing holds me back from ordering and that is the woman that answers the phone who cannot speak a word of English and I don't know what she's saying or if she delivers she is very condescending. So tired of her pointing out everything that's wrong with my appearance!
Although I like the food I do not like the woman that answers the phone who can't speak English and I don't know what she's saying plus the fact that she is very condescending always has something rude to say about me to my face. That's why I don't like ordering from them. I wish they could get rid of her she makes it impossible to order or understand what the heck she's saying one time she said something to me I said okay cuz I didn't understand I wound up spending $45 on dinner...read full review
Good 'New York Style' Fried Rice and Lo Mein! Better than others in the area.
Had a Jumbo Ham fried rice and it was a huge trat, good taste with onions and scallions, you may have to add a pinch of salt to your own liking.
Great pork Lo Mein. Had egg rolls and they were ok, more spring roll filling than egg roll in my opinion, but not bad.
They take your order at a service window at the door.
Will definitely go again!!
Lion Chef Chinese Restaurant offers delicious food with a variety of choices on their menu. While some customers find the lack of sauce packets and the inability to dine in a downside, others praise the food quality and service. The restaurant might benefit from a makeover, but the cook-to-order meals always taste great. They offer vegetarian options and provide ample free parking. Recent reviews highlight the good 'New York Style' Fried Rice and Lo Mein, with some customers especially enjoying the Jumbo Ham fried rice, which has a good taste with onions and scallions. The pork Lo Mein is also well-liked, and the egg rolls are considered okay, with more spring roll filling than egg roll. Customers appreciate the quick service at the door and find themselves returning. However, some reviews mention issues with the woman answering the phone, who cannot speak English well and can be condescending, making it difficult for customers to place orders. Despite these concerns, many still love the food, especially the honey garlic chicken wings and sesame chicken with beef fried rice. Give Lion Chef Chinese Restaurant a try and judge for yourself.
